The AFL should allow Fev and Hall back for a one off game, thus avoiding a nil all score line.

Jesus reading some of this thread you'd think we were GWS. As Sedat said the Bulldogs are getting very little benefit out of their clearances and contested ball and their forward line is really struggling. As long as we limit stupid free kicks and turnovers and our workrate is good we should win comfortably. They're averaging 70 points a game FFS and I don't see them kicking 16.0 from set shots like North.

The current Bulldogs team has the worst conversion of scores to inside 50's in the history of keeping records on such stats. Next week, you will be staggered at just awful we are and how poorly we are being coached. Ratten is no master-coach but he will structure up the numerical advantage a passage behind the stoppage, wait for the obligatory Dogs quick kick out of the pack to nobody in particular and then kick it back over our heads with interest time and again. We are proof that clearances and contested possessions mean jack-schizen in today's version of the game when the quality of said clearances and contested possessions is so poor. We will play your boys back into some form next week, mark my words.

Sedat, you dont seem to understand how bad Carlton are. We have so many players missing-Walker, Judd, Simpson, Warnock, Laidler, Hampson, Waite, Touhy, and probably Joseph and Kreuzer. We are likely to have no ruck.
Sad thing for the Bulldogs will be the crowd, it will be much less than your club budgeted for.
Enjoy the win, for us its one step closer to the end of the season from hell.

We can use all our tricks and local knowledge of playing at our fortress, Etihad.

Who can honestly see us winning this game? Not me.

No ruckmen, no Judd, no key forwards, no forwardline, midfield with no defensive mindset and our key back being a major liability at present.

Bulldogs will have a field day this week.

With Juddy gone, the mid field will come into their own, like when Ablett was out for the Suns.

At least, that would happen, if we had enough players so we could put Gibbsy in the middle.

Yes, I am struggling to come up with some positives right now.

For one week at least, you actually will have the edge in the box. For such a noted and respected teacher, BMac sure has a classroom full of dunces at his disposal. Or maybe the dunces are up in the coaches box?

Jamo allowed to play :sly:

I'm guessing he'll be given first shot at FB given Bower and Watson will be rucking.

Really curious to see who they pick to ruck this weekend. Probably Kreuzer if Ratts gets his way.

Plenty pf players deserve to be dropped.

Wasn't at all keen on Lucas selection, even less keen on him having seen his effort last week.
Was he really a midfielder? Got him cheaply? What happened?

Ellard for Lucas.

I always try and be glass half full and respect your loyalty, but if they played us every week...
