Yep,we do " Big S ".The one thing we all have in common is our love of The Carlton Football Club.Call me a fool, but i will support the club financially no matter what...........I understant your discontent Synbad. Its totally understandable. However,if everyone took your stance, there would be no bickies. And no bickies means no club. And that thought to me after following the Blues for sixty years is an unbearable thought.I like you want our club to be great again and that will keep us all going .

The Kangaroos' 16.0 from set shots in the thumping of the Blues at Etihad Stadium was the best performance in any game since Champion Data started taking detailed stats in 1999.

Quote:
"The intensity's not good enough," Lloyd said of midfielders not getting back to fill holes inside the defensive 50.

"Too many players don't want to get back in the hole and support."

Midfielder Brock McLean agreed: "Our appetite to defend tonight just wasn't good enough."

I havent posted on here for a while because i have just been having too much fun
reading the sage advice for all and sundry on here....oh...and in between all that
boundless joy ive watched our footy team virtually disintegrate in front of our very
eyes over the last 8 to 10 weeks or so.

Lot of good stuff written in this forum and a lot of cow shit.

Its pretty simple for me ..... the gap between the effort/result against Collingwood
compared to the effort against North is mind boggling and pretty much inexcusable.

If every one of us keyboard warrior/lounge chair experts can see the blatant flaws
and deficiencies in some of our gameplan/match day selections/structural set ups
then how the flower do these assistant coaches who spend their working week on
this type of stuff not able to glean the same information ?
Or are we seriously just that shit of a football team ?
Pretty sure if you surveyed all AFL players and asked who is the softest team going
around, i think we know what the answer would be.
That has to be an indictment on SOMEONE at the club ?
Anyone prepared to put their hand up for that one ?
Is that Ratts fault ? Is that Sticks fault ? Is that Gibbs fault ?
Its like we have time travelled back to 1973 all over again and all the bogey man has
to do is say BOO and Carlton shit themself, roll over like a puppy and expose their belly.
Its almost comical if it were not so galling.

I love Carlton as much as the next bloke on here, i never had kids but i reckon my current
feeling would be neatly described as discovering your one only son is a chicken shit little
runny nosed, still breast feeding at 9 years of age, gutless little nonce !!!

Totally had a gutful.

Do we need a new coach ?
Ummmm.....do you think the TEAM needs some new oxygen ?
Because im sick of Rattens nonsensical excuses, for flower sake Carlton...... AMATEUR HOUR MUST END !!!

I shall now go back into disenchanted hibernation, sigh

That's it in a nutshell.
It was all laid out on the table for the footy world to see during the past fortnight.
Forget the injuries. Those two performances do far more to condemn Ratts and the group than if we had been hammered in both games. Shows what we are capable of ... and, unfortunately, was else we are capable of, if ya know what I mean ...

Couldn't agree more. We have the players to at least be competitive against top sides but to be beaten by North, St Kilda, Port, Adelaide the way we where was downright embarrassing. It was as bad as we where 5-10 years ago.

Brock has been pretty good with his telly and radio roles.

Just struggles with the social media.
