Wellingdog and his captain spent the Sunday canvassing how sorry he was etc etc etc.
We do nothing and the Sunday footy shows go nuts.
Ratten and Judd should've been doing circuit yesterday playing the incident down.
The bunker mentality doesn't help.
I know it shouldn't make any difference, but unfortunately it does.

um, I think that only happened after they had 'the Wellingsham show' on Game day, and he smirked, and laughed his way through. the appearance was the one that included Weasel and Romping chatting about how he could holiday in arizona. There was no sorry at that stage.
As outrage grew, the sorry eventually came. It was a sorry excuse for a 'sorry' too.

I'd rather Judd say nothing, than serve up that crap.

Maybe Juddy really believes what he's saying..who knows. anyway, hsn't the charge averted going straight to tribunal?

Aren't the Game Day guests booked in advance too? Maxwell is often on the panel and generally they have some Collingwood flog as a guest when he is on.
Tim Watson was doing more to get him off than Wellingham himself.

Yeah, they would be booked ahead..obviously they thought Pies would win. But shoud've cancelled Welly I reckon. dismal viewing it was.

The tour of the Pies rooms with him, after what happened...sickening really. They should have postponed the whole thing.

I'm really keen to hear what Judds defence will be.
I don't personally understand what happened there, and it made me really uncomfortable.

He didn't mean to "hurt him that much" comment really really annoyed me.

Dirty collingwood dog!

Well Judd didn't mean to hurt him at all.

No case to answer?

It seems this vitriol over Judd, is repressed anger over past incidents as well.

MRP 9 charges and 5 further matters that required explanation. Chris Judd referred directly to Tribunal. Can not accept an early plea.

Didnt expect anything else with Judd, will be made an example of. Why cant he have an early plea?
Jammo very lucky, not forceful enough apparently.

Wonder what Arch thinks about dobbing in at the tribunal this week?

Will he come out publicly to tell us??

Gulp : What does straight to the tribunal mean for the outcome? Lengthy sentence? Or they want Judd to please explain

This may be a cynical view, but last week, there was uproar that Sharrod wasn't referred directly to the tribunal. It's almost as if they are compensating with this.

I agree..2 weeks, make clear it is unacceptable, and move on. Or, even a fine, and a warning.

Looks like they'll throw the book.

It means the former umpires on the MRP still have no idea about the game and gave a quick hospital pass to the tribunal.

pretty lucky that his attempt was on par with his performance on friday ... good effort but poor execution.

i did hear Robbo on SEN say he drove both knees in and hit him in the head ...now that did make me laugh!!!! but i suppose anything we do right now has a hysteria factor applied to it.

I think it's less likely.

The tribunal has real footballers sitting on it, men, real men, not hysterical, pants wetting, media ho's looking for a story.

Judd's a colossus of the game, I hope they are suitably awe struck, but recognize a fellow warrior.
