The longer this saga goes on; the more I think that if it was Joe Bloggs ''offence''; it'd be covered in a small paragraph.

I think Juddy was stupid because of who he is......it's a bit freudian isn't it?

Carlton really need to have a think about their media though.
Wellingdog and his captain spent the Sunday canvassing how sorry he was etc etc etc.
We do nothing and the Sunday footy shows go nuts.
Ratten and Judd should've been doing circuit yesterday playing the incident down.
The bunker mentality doesn't help.
I know it shouldn't make any difference, but unfortunately it does.

McGuire was throwing his 20c worth in on radio this morning. Yep that's right, another club President talking about it like he was just a media commentator. Disgusting.

Only caught part of it, but he said that the media treated him like St Christopher on Sunday morning, but gradually realised the seriousness of it. WTF??

"The medical report North Melbourne tables to the Match Review Panel is expected to reveal Leigh Adams' shoulder was dislocated by Carlton captain Chris Judd's controversial 'chicken wing' tackle last Friday night"

Looking at the incident again and again, as I had a very negative view about Judd's role.

If you watch the replay the real wrenching vs the holding happens when the North Melbourne players tried to push Judd off. Adam's arm get wrenched as goes Judd down.

I'm not saying he wasn't in pain before that perhaps given the gammy shoulder he was more sensitive to Judd's hold than a player with "normal" shoulder strength.

My case

1) Player has existing shoulder injury - takes the field as a "fit" player
2) Judd holds the arm to stop him accessing the ball after ball is trapped under him by Carrazo tackle.
3) Hold hurts due to combination of Carrazo lying on him, ball underneath him, Judd holding on to him and pre-existing injury (pretty unusual combination).
4) Judd is clearly holding on to the arm (nearly cradling it) not wrenching it at this stage.
4) Adam's arm is wrenched as Judd is impacted and then pulled as Judd is knocked backwards on to his arse by Norf players, dislocating it.
5) Judd's instinct when getting knocked back is to hold on to arm, Try falling back and not grabbing onto something, or harder still falling back and letting go of what is steadying you.

non-intentional, high impact (dislocation) but mitigating circumstances?

Have I just convinced myself of something that wasn't there or is thus what people were seeing when they were calling it a press beat up (and abusing me for having thought so negatively of Judd).

A "vote" on the HS web site reveals that 44% wants Judd suspended for 4 plus weeks. SEN been going berserk all day. Hysteria all round. The hatred towards Judd and Carlton is just over the top.

WTF? St.Christopher was decapitated because he refused to sacrifice to the pagan gods. The king tried to win him by riches and sent two beautiful women to tempt him. Christopher converted the women to Christianity, as he had already converted thousands. The king ordered him to be killed.

It's time we got on the front foot in all areas. Game after game we have bananas like Lindsay Thomas, Monfries, Milne, Jetta etc sucking us into this garbage and we come out the other side with 7 goals given directly from frees, 2 from just outside 50, and 4 50m penalties to zero, so we've got nothing to lose.

Same happened against this mob in 2010, same happened against Essendon* 2 years ago, same happened in Rnd 4 when we had the likes of Patrick Ryder throwing his weight around!

Thomas put Joseph down behind play and then gets in face. Ridiculous.

We are not even talking West Coast, Collingwood, Geelong types.

Getting rid of the stigma of mental and physical softness is a massive challenge. Done the wrong way and you come off looking foolish as Port did 2 or 3 times last year when they tried to use Jackson Trengrove as an intimidater and ended up getting pantsed.

Imagine the WAH WAAAHH WAAAHHHH fest on SEN if Juddy got off.
Please let it happen.
Josh Hunt got fined IIRC for stepping on Betts' hand, is pulling an arm albeit possibly in the wrong direction on the books?

What are the odds on getting off Bookie?
