Great job Blues.

I guess the positive is we'll see Casboult and Mitchell debut.

This is what you do to your playin g list when you have muppets in charge.
Murder talent Gibbs
Everybody loses confidence Russell Bower Thornton Walker
Guys get treated like shyt Brad Fisher and others...
Players get ground into the ground possible long term injuries.Kreuzer Curnow Jameson Waite
Your captain sees an arm sticking out and in frustration does the chicken wing.

Just watch the Swans.

Not many stars...
no number 1 picks.
No big names for early picks traded from other clubs
No bottoming out
A great TEAM

Thats the difference!!!

their pick #150 ruckmen???(One from Canada growing up riding reindeers)

WOW!!!!!!

Coaching... development.. etc... A +

US????

BIG F FOR FAIL!!!

See the difference???

Their mids - they drafted to supplement what was already a pretty good combination (Goodes, McVeigh, O'Keefe, Bolton) - they added Luke Parker (40s), Hannebery (high 20s), got Kennedy with a 3rd rounder (whilst we used 12 for Brock + lots of $$$$$), McGlynn too, developed a rugby convert Jack into an absolute gun, hard worker, discipline, great kick, speed. Sam Reid with a pick in the 30s, Mumford ruck. Bird another NSW project that no one really wanted...too slow etc.

Defence made up of an Essendon* reject, Grundy (rookie), Alex Johnson (50s), Mattner (reject), Rhys Shaw (reject)

They've had a top pick or two....Rohan pick 6 injured all year. Blown a couple of others on Brown and Johnston.

Smart management, smart recruitment, good development, never thinking that having too many midfielders is a problem. If someone is out someone comes in and plays the same role. If we lose Laidler we're [REDACTED]. They lost Goodes and Mumford for 12 combined weeks and sit on top of the @#$%&! ladder! Developed the current senior coach for quite a long time before he got the top job...everyone gets groomed to play their roles.

Synbad - what was the difference between our players mind set against Collingwood compared to North?
They hunted and harrassed in packs against one compared to the other, so why the change - because there was a change and everyone saw it. I know the planning was disgraceful and the selections even more but what about the players mindset? Surely they are proud individuals who want to give their all day in day out? Surely they don't pick and choose when they turn up and decide to hunt and when not too?
Ratten, Richardson, Brown, Barker, Capuano, Williams, etc are to blame but not for everything. Players must take responsibility as they admit every now and then in the media!!!! Don't know who is kidding who anymore when I hear our players speak.

So they killed him finally???

Our number one pick has been ground to dust...???

Well thats one rooted..physically by the club... and another mentally... (tagger for 5 years will do that to a number 1 pick)

So how are the lesser lights going to deal with what theyre subjected to ???

Amateur club

Eddie to ruck.

Phew for a minute there I thought we were going to be light on for a ruckman.

Yah were better than Collingwood....

Look...Surrey... it doesnt work like that.

Sometimes when the club is totally under the pump.. and their is a media inqusition to every player on the list.. the other club goes in overconfident...especially when they won 10 straight.

Theyre second???

Were 13th

Alot of footy has been played between those 2 Collingwood games.

theyre not flattering.

Even when we were beating them.. collingwood refused to close us down and continued to play their own thing .... their arrogance doesnt rate us Surrey.. they think were a joke.. they ddnt even bother changing anything to do what every other club has been doing.

Happy to just play their own game and keep it going .. instead of bothering with us too much... go in lick their wounds and come out and smash Geelong...

Doesnt mean a thing!!!

He has been struggling for 12 weeks with it.

Of course ts going to flare up.

We have a coach who is about self presevation.

K should have been rested for a month weeks ago... and then checked

I wonder what were doing to this kids longevity

Yep........but it's now being acknowledged & a very real possibility he won't play

And so the TANK starts :donk:

Will Warnock be available?
Did he get 1 or 2 weeks?

I've got a feeling Waite will be played in the seniors straight up, underdone or not....just the way things are at Carlton.
Maybe an underdone Waite is better than an underdone Mitchell or Casboult.

If Kreuzer is out because he can't play with an injury fair enough....if he's been playing injured for 12 weeks....that rest should have been done 12 weeks ago.

Who is going to ruck?

Just bandage him up and send him out there again.....

He kind of still has feeling this time.

We dont play him when he cant feel a thing....

Get him out there!!!

Warnock got 1 week but because the NB's had a bye in the VFL he automatically misses 2 AFL games

That's fair , isn't it :?:

Thanks for the bad news chubbyruss.

Ridiculous.

Ridiculous we didn't protest...a week is a week unless it's 2 weeks.

Doesn't sound right.

They are also away from the bubble dont read about themselves each day and dont get recognised walking down the street . Players in sydney dont get ahead of themselves - they slip under the radar
and because they are not recognised there are no long drawn out contract negotiations - no threats of going home so the players become more level headed rely on each other - GWS will go the same way and it is not unlike the Melbourne Storm .

We spend entire seasons trying to sign players like Gibbs and Yarran because they threaten to go home and think they are worth more than they are - Cloke demanding a 1 million a year when he is not a patch on Goodes who has 2 charlies to his name - Goodes would never demanded that sort of coin

Sydney are good because the players know their shit stinks like everyone else - We have players that dish up tripe strutt round like millionaires then 1hr after the game are taking the piss on twitter

Never saw one image in the Sydney papers of what the swans were doing in the preseason - Hardly a day went by where we werent getting images or updates of the players and how hard they were working

I hope soon they close shop stop all the fluff in the media and regroup and just get on with the business of playing football
