I don't think Juddy meant to do any damage to Adam's shoulder. Looks like he was trying to keep his arm away from being able to get the ball out. Mind you I wish he did it a bit differently though. As previous posters have said because its Juddy he will probably get done for it.

Conversely; I can't see how Juddy was trying to make his shoulder feel better either...........

Done for what exactly? Pulling his arm? Its not a good look but considering all the scragging that goes on during a game it really isnt a big deal. The reasons he might go is due to media pressure and having judd as a surname.

The trial by media is disgusting though. I'm pretty sure that will influence the MRP.

Our players would be the ones fined if they tweeted Who will Chris "Steven Seagal" Judd take out next?.

Seeing that Carrazzo (?) is laying on his back so that he can't move; it appears rather pointless to be doing what he did......and reckless.....and bordering on cruel with his obviously bandaged shoulder.

Of all people; Judd would be aware of sore shoulders.......no excuse really now that I'm seeing better pics of the incident.

Perhaps Juddy owed him for a previous incident?.....who knows....

Judd is clearly able to slow down time and make a million decisions in a second like Robert Downey jr.'s Sherlock Holmes. :sly:

Thomas did a jumper punch last week and was cleared.

Won't someone think of the children.

Can someone show me which rule Judd broke???

I have searched the rule book and found nothing under "holding an arm while someone has the ball..."

Maybe I am looking in the wrong area

I don't think there was much in it...but reckon he'll get a week or two as a deterrent to others.

At best; it's certainly not a good look for a Captain/Dual Brownlow Medallist.

Don't care whether it is a good look or not.. If they were worried about the aesthetics of the game, umpire Panell wouldn't be allowed anywhere near the ground

Nowhere in the rules does it have a "won't someone think of the children" clause!!

So who reported him and for what? I didn't think he even got reported until the media created a "project".

Reported by a boundary umpire for misconduct.

That was about the only pro-Judd comment in the whole issue.

Mark Stevens wanted at least 3.

Public poll majority voted for 4+

They even had a crack at him in 'Snapparazzi'! #longdelayatairport

We can bang on about it all we like but I agree he is screwed especially if it goes to tribunal. Easier to bow to public and media pressure when you can just pull a sentence out of your arse rather than having to justify your verdict with any point grading criteria.

Rightly or wrongly letting him off will cause a media and fan frenzy, giving him weeks will be seen as 'justice being served'.

Mark Fine saying Judd should get 8 weeks. Comparing it with Steven Baker/ Steve Johnson incident.

I think he should get 5 and I love Juddy and only want to see him do well.

If they decide he intentionally tried to injure a player's shoulder as he lay prone, there's not much you can do which is lower than that....

At the risk of being considered bias, I honestly don't see the seriousness in the incident. I thought he was just holding the arm to prevent the ball being disposed.

I agree it wasnt the best look but 8 weeks? FMD

The media hysteria has baffled me. He will likely get a week at least to appease the masses.

In a way, I hope he gets off so I can watch with glee the outcry that will result.
