Thought the same thing Sin Man.

Woulda liked to see him get decked.

Might of eased some of the pain.

It shouldn't be pretty.

We are in the shit and we shouldn't be.

You can't control injuries and with our injuries top 4 was probably not going to happen but that doesnt disguise a lack of cohesion, structure and application.

We are rudderless and the saving grace if we get MM is that he won't bow to Sticks and the board of nincompoops.

Crap and guess what we lost

Sorry cant have 5 in the one team if you want consistency

They determine if we win or lose

thank god for the 17 white guys then, eh? If they hadn't all starred we'd have list by almost 10 goals.

Yes. Sensible idea. Why haven't we thought of that before? Keep the coach. It's the players. Somehow, coincidentally, all 40 of them are pea hearted. Amazing really, when you think about it. How unlucky is Carlton???

We weren't good but weren't as bad as the scoreboard or TC will suggest. We had more disposals, more marks, more tackles, more marks inside 50 and a decent margin in each category. If their goalkicking % tonight had matched their year long average we would've lost by 2 or 3 goals instead of the ridiculous margin it ended up being.

Well done Juddy for a great game. Nice returns from Henderson and Murphy. Robbo worked hard and threw his weight around. Jammo and Garlett are liabilities at the moment.

Yep. We were unlucky.

Carlton is just the unluckiest team going around.

$@&(; umpires. @&(/:@ injuries. :$&@$)( draw.

Unlucky! Unlucky! Unlucky!

Defence win matches. A couple of simple things we must do. Defenders get goal side of your opponent, any fast breaks you should be first back. Defend the V- let them have shots from the boundary and not right infront. Push a man back in defence if they push all the forwards up the ground. Alot of goals are scored from rebounding out of defence. Also if your going to turn the ball over then do it near the boundary line and not the niddle of the ground. Atleast you can limit where the ball is going to come from.
Also forwards how about leading once in a while, it's so much easier to mark on the lead then in a contest. Plus it's harder for the defender because they have to stop the leads and also get body contact for the contest mark. Forwards should always be on the move. Standing still and putting your hand in the air is pointless.
Also do we have any set plays from ball ups or throw ins? Take a risk and try smashing it out the back, but if you do make sure we have the numbers. Change it up and try something new. If nothing works how about tagging all there midfield and putting pressure on them atleast, you never know they might turn it over.
Anyhow hopefully a new coach and game plan for next year. Ratten's time is up.

Had to be out last night, didn't see a minute of it. But TC has definetely painted the picture for me and it ain't pretty.

Petrie tore Hendo to shreds in the pre season Visy praccy and kicked 7 goals on him. I suspect he was just as dominant last night.

Keeping this in mind, what truly astonishes me is why Ratts would bother to switch Hendo onto him in a heartbeat?? Expecially a Hendo who apparently was looking likely up fwd? Surely it was worth persisting with Hendo fwd if there was a real query as to whether he could do any better then Jamo? I just don't get it.

One thing that's becoming obvious about this group - if we meet a team of similar talent, who can at least match our intensity, we never win. Never. Not only are we losing, but being belted. It's a shocking indictment on this group.

I also wish every one of our last 7 games was @ Etihad - it's about flowering time we started to play some decent footy there. :banghead:
