I'd love you to be right Mick, but just can't see it being anything but close. Kangas in great form, they love Etihad (we don't), and often give us trouble. I'll be very nervous if AJ starts on Thomas, esp inside 50 :yikes: . Reckon they should give him a lock down role on one of Norfs onballers.

Coss of the coin job for mine.

I wonder if we aren't all perpetuating our own myth about Etihad.

I was there the night we pumelled the saints there..remember the 3 amigos game?
They weren't expecting it, and we were full of running and tackling.
It's the same ground that they found plenty of space on before.

It'd be great for the boys to rediscover how good they can be on that ground.

Great food for thought BG.

We lost at the Dome when we were over confident, out of form, weak game plan and being hunted.

I think we appreciate the dry as opposed to the wet, and the reason we like the G is because we can use our pace...and we will with that line up tonight.

In the dry I don't like to only have to talks against their 3 unless Hansen loses the recent form he's found. if we go short we have to win the middle and because we can rotate in and under players McLean Curnow Robbo and even Judd and Murph do that we should be too strong in the guts...I hope so.

Go Blues....can't wait... It's a blizzard here in Persher and nothing to do but have a couple waiting for the game...already got an ale in the hand...been up since 6

On BTG last night Maher reckons Murph will be late scratch.

That would probably mean Ellard, although I think I prefer lucas to run in simpson's spot and through Curnow in the middle.

Murphy will play, judging by the photo in the HS today, he has had a recent haircut.........

It would be Lucas - he is listed as emergency

so, a nice apple crumble, some schnapps, and away you go.

win or lose, no one would blink if you go for a nudie run, and scream like a banshee.

Simpson's injury is Lucas's chance to show he belongs, if Murphy doesn't play I want Lucas to be given a full game and being told to impress us.

Our forward structure worked against Collingwood but we have to adapt tonight.
Henderson will have to play deep for mine. McMahon has a good record on Betts so we have to involve Walker and Garlett more. Forward pressure will get them to cough up the ball, but our entries must be smart and favour the forwards.

Yep, we've seen what Ellard can do, time for Kane to stand up and tell us he has a future @ the CFC!

Damn.

don't want to go back to that sinking hell of a fortnight ago.
It's much harder when you go back to thinking we might win.

Interesting that Murphy and Henderson have both been assessed as fit enough to go. As the KAOS agent said to Maxwell Smart, 'I find that difficult to believe.'

Scott has drilled a hard at the footy approach to North. They still have a lot of light weights in the team so lets hope we can out muscle them. I do feel like this will be another Port vs Carlton game where we are bashed and crashed. The question is, can we respond this time!!!!

Every game is a must win game now.

Having some American colleagues and hopefully new Carlton fans around for the game tonight. I have Carlton polos for them and a spare Carlton cap or two. Few beers, BBQ then to watch on Australia Network. Now all we need is the right result.
Go Blues!

I must be the only person on the universe that believes you need atleast 2 KP forwards to win games of footy.

This should be present at every hitout.
Sadly it has been missing most of the year.
