I wonder if there's anything to read into about Kreuzer's long term health?

Warnock when fit, is a legit number 1 ruck, and so is Kruezer. Makes little sense to tie them both up on 3-year deals.

He's not fit this year, not that too many here would remember that he lost alot of pre-season. Beyond the 4 game memory span.

We were singing his praises after the finals last year. Only need a couple of bad games, fit or not, and a bloke's whole career changes in the minds of some.

He'll be our best actually ruckman by a long way, with Kreuzer by far the best footballer of the 3 by a long way. Don't give away 206cm in a hurry. They're gold and we'd regret it. The 2nd half of his career with be great, like many ruckmen at that stage.

Warnock dominated and we looked like winning after the first 2 quarters-- i think it was the geelong game -- until he went off with a sore groin.

When fit, he's covering ground, taking marks and dominating taps to advantage.

The simple fact of the matter is that any of your top 25 players are better off contracted and on your list come Trade Week.

If he can just get through a pre-season he'll to well.

You must sign quality and he's quality.

Thank Goodness.
We need 3 ruckman on the list.
I cannot believe people are sooking that we signed him.
This place sometimes is quite unbelievable.

Agree.

Three ruckman a must. More often than not only two of them are up and running at any one time.

Be nice if Kruezer had his height. Or Warnock had Kruezers ground skills.

Possibly the most overrated footballer in the league. Does little at Fremantle and gets a 4 year contract. Gets another 3 year contract for doing very little.
Even his good games havent been out of this world.

Personally I cannot see how any club can give Warnock 7 years.

hooray..........some sense

A full pre season into Knockers will see him improve plenty next year. No guarantee that Hammer is going to make it as Ruck or Fwd don't forget.

Wasn't expecting that.

Surely we would be looking to trade one of Warnock / Hampson or Kreuzer.

I doubt Warnock has signed on for an extra 3 years JUST to be a back up ruckman when needed.
Kreuzer is a Ruckman and not a forward.
Hampson could be both if fit and in form.

Regardless, we can't fit them all into the same team (as much as I personally thought that would work).

Ideally if we could on trade one of them to GWS or Gold Coast for one of their Tall Forward kids that might want to come home?

I'd look at trading him if we were confident that Rowe / Casboult / late draft smokie could do the job as second ruck next season, and if he finished the season in good form. A late first round pick plus our pick 12ish would give a good position to get someone like Boak or Caddy, or get two good kids at the draft.

this sums up my that.

It's the fact that rrobbie is a great/potentially great ruckman, not that he isn't. and the point of K. being great as ruckman, not so much frward/ruck. and..then, how do you get the best of both.

Good move, better to have them signed up than to lose them for less than adequate compensation.
Cam Mooney on SEN thinks its a bad move, didnt hear what he said. Anyone hear him?
