We have been playing underdone players all year (too many to list). This time of the year, most players in the AFL are underdone. A lot of players are carrying some injury and have to push through the pain barrier each week or have a jab so thye can get out there.
Not debutants. You can argue the point all you want but there is not one benefit to playing two new kids, who are talls and need more time, when they simply aren't ready.
Personally guys such as Lucas, OKeefe, Dale, Buckley, Ellard, Thornton would be ahead of them.
If you are desperate to play a new tall it would be McCarthy. At least he has the fitness to at leads compete.
Anyway we won last week by finally playing one ruck and a more running side. Why would we change that?
I'm not entirely up with the NB's so I go from what I see from time to time and others reports.
I think Kreuzer was good last week but Jolly isn't fantastic at this point in time either.
I just like having two ruck likes in the team at the same time and think Kreuzer might need a break every now and then.
If McCarthy is the best fit for now then he serves more than one purpose.
Apart form the first one mentioned I believe at least one tall forward focal point is needed at all times and I think Warnock is cocky and needs to pull his head in.
Put some pressure on him to regain his spot because he is playing it like a smart ass.
I also believe that North will try and take advantage with their taller players.
I don't think Thornton is a main target so someone else is needed.
It's only Ethihad and Hampson is interchanged for a nother tall.
If Murphy comes in for Simmo that wouyld negate his loss and I also think we need another speedster to come in.
