Or he can take a king hit to the jaw and if he recovers quicker than Simmo he's more than welcome to make an early return.

 Can we pick the person who throws the punch? Does it have to be a current player, or can we pick a past player or an angry supporter?

Gotta be Greg Williams.

I kept watching him do that thinking, why would you bother? Surely there are better things you could do to help your team, like keeping your man from being the match winner.

So you're expecting a Carlton loss next week. Let's see how the next 3 weeks pan out. Let's see if Ratts can win 4 in a row once in his 5 year reign.

Yeah, Doc Larkins just said on 3AW that it's confirmed - broken jaw. Could be 4-6 weeks, although he also said he wasn't sure of the extent of the break yet or what action is required at this stage.

Hopefully he isn't on a "liquid diet" for 4-6 weeks as it might take him a couple of extra weeks to gain the required weight/strength from eating solids.

It can't be that bad of a break. He was up and about talking after it. If he's jaw needed to be wired shut he woulda been taken to hospital ASAP.

I'm guessing its a fracture. Maybe 4-5 weeks?

Hey js. craponli
Have you heard of the Geometric Distribution in probability
It looks at the number of failures before the first success
Congratulations. You've been telling us for 7 weeks that a win is around the corner.
I'll make a bold prediction as well. Our next loss is in the future as well.

You REALLY can't read social (virtual) cues can you? And here we all were thinking you were puppet/stooge/troll for the clubs. Please accept my heart felt pity for your disengaging disposition.

No one's interested in reading this petty back and forth. Just ignore him. Acting like a more articulate version of him does you no favours.

Believe so.

Me too.

And what's more, it was the right option. If you've got an 80m canon for right boot, and your captain gives it to you in the clear 70 metres out on a reasonable angle, then you have a ping. It's only a weapon if you're prepared to use it. And if it had soared through it would have been soul destroying for the Pies.

That one was a shank. But if he keeps picking the right moment to try it, he's going to hurt teams eventually.

That's what I thought too.

God we've been unlucky with broken bones this year.

Simpson will be right. I've heard of more serious broken bones. Just ask Dermott.

Ratts loves McLean so much he's pinched his first name.

I liked the bit where we kicked a goal, and Bucks clutched his throat like he couldn't breathe.
By the time we kicked the next one, he looked resigned to losing.

Curnow's best game.
Collins' best game.
McLean's best game.

From what I can remember anyway.
