Ageed. Comes across very well.

He sounded concerned about Simmo though.....hope Simmo is OK, but off for scans and not too good this morning apparently....could be a worry....

As someone posted earlier, he certainly looked drunk and dazed in the team song. His eyes were somwhat slow and glazed.
IMO he'll miss next week, it was a BIG hit

And should. Was knocked out cold. Brought back images of Richard Osbourne in that incident in the 90's.

People can't behave like normal human beings without getting sworn at, is the way I see it. You are too busy getting agro (the act, not the TC poster) to enjoy it, I don't know about the rest of us.

Still, I hope that scanning is mandatory.

nice of you to come in late and offer your ill informed opinion , thanks

you missed a fair bit of infighting here last night - not much normal human behaviour - well acceptable human behaviour happening for a fair while

With all due respect to Marty Pask and Kade himself...they aren't Doctors. The best ice-hockey in the world has missed over 100 games over the last two seasons due to a concussion not unlike Simmo's. Gotta treat these things very differently to how we used to.

Flower that's bad for Simmo. That would be the season surely or at least the next four weeks.

don't the MRP take injuries from incidents into account?
If so surely, surely Wellingham is looking at 4 or 5 now

Yeah, Doc Larkins just said on 3AW that it's confirmed - broken jaw. Could be 4-6 weeks, although he also said he wasn't sure of the extent of the break yet or what action is required at this stage.

Terrible news for Simmo. Filthy about Wellingham.

On a positive note (and it is not often said), I thought that the umpires were good last night.

Should take a lateral thinking approach and Wellingham is only allowed to return once Simmo is declared fit.

Or he can take a king hit to the jaw and if he recovers quicker than Simmo he's more than welcome to make an early return.

Me too - I wish more games were umpired in the same fashion.

Hopefully he isn't on a "liquid diet" for 4-6 weeks as it might take him a couple of extra weeks to gain the required weight/strength from eating solids.
