breakfast tastes better.
can't decide whether to continue on with 2nd q. on replay, or sit here, listening to radio, and reading about last nite.

it's been so long! welcome back Winning. Where ya been?

Reading it again,
Quote:
I thought our performances (with effort) were similar in some other weeks
, he did say "some other weeks", so I read it wrong.

But I still think it's ridiculous to say "we are insulted" on the basis of 2 competitive weeks out of 7. Even Collingwood had a bad night and would have thought it was a game they should have won, but you couldn't say effort wasn't there. That should be a given 22 H&A games per year.

Everyone said as long as we win one of Hawthorn or Collingwood after the bye round, we'd be right in the run home.

... Does this mean the season is back on?

Duigan on Maxwell was the best move since McKay on Mckenna. Parko influence?

Bucks got rolled there well done Ratts.

Did Ratts have a moment in the box at the end?

I wouldn't blame him for a bit of a tear considering the pressure.

yes Braithy. yes, it does.

a tad worried about EtiHard, but, I remember the times we have demolished the Saints there, and remain optimistic.

If it was Parko, cimm, then how much do we pay him for a regular mentor role? :-)

Just watching the replay (again).

Any idea what the toothless ones were complaining about when Betts marked well inside the goal line with 5mins left in the 2nd quarter? Was borderline whether he marked in the square. Umpy made him go on the angle so it was a win for them.

They wanted a 'play on' call.

Was just watching that.

Looked like he marked in the square, walked back to the top of the square to take his kick from the angle, and they've taken it as play-on...or argued that it was marked out the square.

Either way, vintage Pies cheer squad..

Don't know who asked the Q there but Ratt's got on the front foot, good on him - he didnt want to cop shite from the question and followed up with a bit of what for (got a little fired up to that Q if you watch the post match).
Maybe it was a sniper of a reporter who has lit up the headlines recently that had filtered back.

I think they determined that last night. Same leg as last years' PCL? Would presume season done for Shaun.

Can't help but think Wellingham is a very poor man's Stan Magro.

When I watched his cheap shot it instantly brought back memories of Jezza being flattened at Princes Park back in the '70's.
