Did he have a crack at Ratts after the game or did I misinterpret what I heard?

Set IQ and recording it. ( i still have the round 3 game saved).
Always enjoy watching the replay when you know you won.
Terrific win, you have to wonder why they havent played like that for the past 2 months. Ratten looked liked he was going to cry after the game.
Suck shit Collingwood, they could slip down to 5th now.

Part of me wants to agree, part doesn't. Judge it at seasons end now.

Nothing changes though, just delays Ratts end. The boys had all the motivation tonight, a couple of surprise tactics, need to show it for the rest of year now when the ammunition for motivation might not be so great.

Seriously, some of you flogs can't even enjoy a win anymore without it distracting you from some Ratten bashing.

Glad I got to enjoy a good win without suffering mixed emotions

Well, Garlett's kicking for goal was a lowlight but he wasn't alone. He got involved in other ways so will probably hold his place.

I've been critical of Kreuzer of late but he did a great job tonight.

Those calling for McLean's head should be silent for a while.

Likewise Yarran. Best game he's played all year.

Touhy quiet but Dawes has killed us in past games so maybe he did his job without looking spectacular.

Watson is improving by the week and did OK again tonight.

McInness an inauspicious debut but one he will remember. He didn't disgrace himself out there so they should leave him in for next week.

Collins got some touches and should stay, even though he could have impacted more on the scoreboard.

Walks bobs up and does stuff he shouldn't be able to do.

AJ had a good game as well and didn't have a clanger I can remember.

Carazzo only let Beams off the hook a few times.

Armfield OK again without starring. Missed a sitter for him.

Gibbs did a great job of pinpointing teammates downfield with precision kicking and even got down and dirty a couple of times...

Robbo had another great game.

Eddie is just amazing under pressure. 4 straight tonight IIR.

Judd killed them. No hard tag. They will have to look at that when we pay them in the finals....

We won because Collingwood doesn't tag. When we play teams that hard tag, we have problems getting the ball into space. Tonight they allowed us space because we were harder at it in the clinches, which is one of their strengths usually.

We are still in touch with the eight and 5 weeks ago before we had the run of playing four top teams, the experts said we had to salvage a win from one of the games to make the eight. Well, it was tonight. and we start to get the odd player back over the next few weeks. Murphy might play next week as the sub maybe to get half a game. Hendo, Waite not far off. Pity about Hampson. He was looking pretty ominous when he got injured and the way he did it. I thought he was going to monster the game. Good luck to Simmo and I hope that Wellingham gets about 4 for that.

Intentional.
High.
High impact.

All of a sudden things don't look so bleak. Season 2012 is already a success with us beating Collingwood twice.

Now we have to play like that every week.

Go Blues.

Now for brekky.

Matthew Kreuzer IS our number one ruck. His work at ground level makes him effectively 2 players in one. I believed he was injured and maybe he's getting over what ever was ailing. But if he's not 100% then look out when he is.
Welcome back Chris Yarran.
Mr Beams have you met Mr Carrazzo? He will be owning your arse tonight.
I have been critical of MC and Ratts when things were poo and now I want to give credit to them for this win. Duigan move was inspired. Andrew Collins has to keep playing and Brock might just have saved himself a spot on the list next year.
Lastly but not leastly, Mitch Robinson. I know what I saw on my tv tonight and he embodied the spirit and attitude of the whole team. For mine he was BOG.

IMHO the key tonight was a) going smaller b) Yarran getting his mojo back and thus getting better delivery from half back c) Brock having a blinder and tacking much of Judd's in and under work which freed Judd up d) Pies not showing respect and not tagging Judd or anybody else.

We have to be careful against North. They wont make the same mistake (giving our midfield the space).

The question remains, why can't the players put in that level of pressure more often?
