I'm really pumped - would love to see the boys get a win. But really want them cracking in for 100 minutes and that's all I will be focussing on.

I am not going tonight, have legit reasons so good luck to those going.
Go Blues.

I know we may not have had a great say in the matter, but more and more, the loss of Jacobs is going to bite us hard.

Mind, had we not ever recruited Warnock in the first place, then Sauce might still be at the club.

To me, a Jacobs-Kreuzer combination offers a bit more than our current options. Oh well.

Pretty sure Greg Denham thought Essendon*'s "power forwards" were going to be too much for us in last year's elimination final.

CB but on the flip side we would not have traded for Laidlaw  who we got for that pick and depending on how Andy mciness goes in the future him too with the other pick.

I think to everyone a Jacobs-Kreuzer combo would of given ALOT more. A Jacobs alone would of.

Ill be there as I am most games. I'm certain this will be a caning, but I hope to see at least intent at the contest and that we're beaten purely because Collingwood are a better team.

Yeah, let's hope we get a good insight into the future with McInnes tonight.

Warnock is a Lazy Footballer. He is been a Liability for us in the Ruck, however he is still a Tap Ruckman better than Kruzer and Hampson, so I am afraid we are going to be killed in the Middle, don't think we will get our hands on it...

Hampson has been terrible. Maybe its time We give him a Run role as a Ruck/Ruck Rover and see how he goes. His Forward Experiment has been one of the Reasons why our forward Line has been non Functional. He needs to be moved on!!!

Warnock is NOT a tap ruckman. Warnock wins the hitouts but that is as far as it goes. He hits it to nobody most of the time. Hitouts that go to ground, hitouts that go to someone wearing an opposition player, hitouts that go to an opposition player don't count at all. Last week he had one beautiful palm to a Carltonplayer running past the outside of the pack.

ONE!

He had one mark last week. He played on, lost the footy and it resulted in a goal to Hawthorn.

Hampson is one of the top contested marks at the club on pure stats. Last week he took several again. He doesn't get as many hitouts as Warnock but that doesn't matter so much because Warnock's aren't to advantage as much as they should be. He is the best kick for goal at the lub (has something like 14-3 this year) and when he plays from the square, straightens us up. Problem is, he doesn't play from the square enough.

Of the three rucks we currently have, he is the most versatile on exposed form. I would trade both of the others before Hampson. Kreuzer is a shadow of the man we recruited for whatever reason and here we are, Ratts has given him a new job this week. If it is anything other than leaning on the goal post and marking everything that comes to the 10 metre square, a la John Nicholls 1972 GF, I'll be disappointed.

I hope the selections are based on speed and spread because that's how we beat them last time. Apart from Murphy (big out) we have a similar lineup. They are without Pendles (big out) but Beams is playing like a man possessed whereas we haven't been able to replace Murphy with anybody half decent. I'm guessing that's why Ellard is out. Congrats to McInness. I hope he is a star of the future. Do your best and I hope you get to sing the song.

I have a good feeling about this game. It's real backs to the wall stuff for the players and they have a chance to prove they can do it on the big stage. If they do, I'll be chuffed they did and angry they only turn up to play when they feel like it.

I gave it to a couple of my Collingwood mates earlier this year (which I normally don't do) so I have bought a jar of Vaseline just in case....

Big day tomorrow. Starts at 0415.

Well summarized BS.
I thought I was the only one that thought this way.
I will cancel my OPSM appointment.

Your second last line makes no sense, get back to me on that I'm interested, I am, truly.

But what I'd really like to know is what Sticks (and or Ratts) did to you to make you for you to take it so personally?.

I mean, I want him gone, but you want him humiliated.

Fess up, you've hinted you have hung around the club in the past and have had dealings with Sticks. I think its only fair that we know what it is that clouds your judgement.

Dont come back with "i care about my club dont you Cimm??!!!!"

PM if its too embarrassing.

Ratts and Sticks refused Synners an autograph one day and he's had the sh1ts since...lol! That sounds about as close as he gets to the club. Like to make themselves sound important so to cover the fact they how 3/5th of stuff all. We're all looking to have Ratten replaced but his agenda is way over the top. Just unbalanced in his argument. Maybe it's balanced with a chip on both shoulders...lol! Ceased to take him seriously ages ago.

44% apparently went to advantage last week and Warnock had most of them. Excellent tap ruckmen just not fit, with his lack of pre-season, in a team not playing well.

Theyre not up to the task of turning around my club.

Its personal.

Jim , i would nt give a ratts clacker if you cease to take me seriously or not.

Everything you have been saying about where were has been totally bown away.

They have been so totally removed from reality its not funny.

Cimm i like...
We might have disagreements.. but i like his posts regardless.

But i hate it when we do the flag waving on behalf of whats a shel of a footy club.
I wanna see those that can do it meaningfully wave a flag we can get behind.
A flag that is truly one to follow.

It doesnt matter if we get up for a couple of win. Even if its tonight.

In the overall scheme of things its meaningless... (no flag coming under these guys)(

Its all i care about!!!

What we copped over a decade nothing else will do!!!

Eddelston will be in the box tonight.. and he has told the world he will be.

thats where were at!!!!

The papers dont focus on our games.
they focus on our dissaray!!!
Thats where were at!!!

We shouldnt be here !!!
We are!!!

Cos thats where were at!!!
Im relentless... not cos i can change the world...i cant!!!.. im not silly enough to think that....but hopefully more people can understand that its not about a game or a season .. but about the club and its standing.. its brand... and where the club sits in the bigger picture!!!
Ok??? :donk:

Maybe Mr Cazz is right... noone died...and we shouldnt care... !!!

But we do care... and were here... when we stop caring were in Melbourne more.. off to the snowfields and finding other things in life.

No Lucas, Warnock dropped. I wonder if the word is going around that they want out at the end of the year?

I didn't think Warnock was too bad in the ruck last week (yes, terrible around the ground). So we drop him instead of Krooze, who not only didn't play well last week but is injured! I want/hope to see Krooze starring for us for years to come, not limping through another couple of mediocre years before being forced into premature retirement. The kid's a diamond, a future captain, he'd play for us on crutches (hope Rats doesn't read that). Carlton need to do the right thing by Krooze and the club.

Collingwood don't look that great on paper, especially with the injuries they have at present, but what they are is a champion team as against a team of champions. If we allow them to dictate the style of play it's goodnight. As in round 3 we have to have the game played on our terms, we have to break down their stuctures. But will we be able too? Probably not, but I dunno, I've got a funny feeling about tonight, the first time for weeks. WE CAN WIN THIS.

I'm bloody sick of week after week expecting us to lose (and being right), I'm up for tonight, I hope the team is.
