The things that is annoying is that the top sides aren't that good. I mean who are these guys - Sinclair, Williams, Buckley, Fasolo, Elliot, Paine. They'd be lucky to have 50 games between them, and barely a top 50 pick amongst them. Add to that battlers like Toovey, Goldsack, Blair. Dawes is a log and Jolly can barely get off the ground. Harry O is like a startled rabbit when he is one on one near goals. I know, I said the same about the Hawks. And I know they will probably beat us by 10 goals, but they are hardly the Lions of 01-03. How can we be so far behind about 8 sides. They have Pendlebury out, Ben Johnson, Krakouer, Didak, Tarrant, Ball.

What excuse do we trot out if we cop a thumping from this lot? The fact that we are all expecting a belting indicates how woeful we are. On paper I don't think we are out talented by that much. On the park, a different story.

Gerry I agree but really who has had a better year than last for us?
Apart from Bootsma and Watson.
Along with some :screwy: decisions by our MC and abit of inside unrest we have fallen a long way off expectations.
I unlike the club spin doctors don't hold on to injuries as an excuse.

Congratulations to young McInnes. Surprised that Ellard was dropped and thought Thornton would come in. I have the feeling Warnock will leave at seasons end, we wont get proper compensation though if wants to go to GWS.
At least the 3 players to come in are in good form in the VFL.

Thornton has no future,gone

I think we'll struggle to kick more than 5 goals. Looking at their defence and it's pretty much the same one they won a flag with. Only change I think would be Simon Buckley for Ben Johnson. Thank @#$%&! Pendlrbury's not in, although it probably matters little. I dare say he would've played if it was higher stakes. Anything else on the telly?

Can't believe our best ruckman dropped especially when Kreuzer appears lame & can't get off the ground

But, WTF would I know :donk:

Ellard can class himself very stiff.
Seriously the MC is [REDACTED]
How does Yarran and Gartlett get a game over Ellard given the last month

Perhaps Ratts has a plan to burn a hole in the pies plan with plenty of pace and uncontested ball.
Sure has worked the last 3 months

And I would have played Mitchell for the hell of it
McInnes deserves a game. Well done but
Honestly what the @#$%&!

Ellard WTF??
He, Army and Judd the only 3 to have a crack last week

If Andrew McInnes is the flowering sub, I'll fairdinkum cook my membership in the microwave and crisp it up in the oven, before I flush it down the toilet!
PLEASE give he and Collo a full game

Under Ratten, agreed. Under someone else, will be interesting to see.

Warnock won't go to GWS he's playing for us because he wanted to come back to Victoria. Hampered by a lack of pre-season.

Certainly want to keep him but, at the same time, would use him as part of a Travis Cloke trade if he came with MM.

Why drop Ellard? He is contributing weekly. Usually kicks a goal or two a week and puts his body on the line.
Why drop Warnock over Hammer or Kreuzer? All three are out of form but i would of thought Warnock was the best of them lately.
Why bring in Curnow? He's as fast as McLean with poorer disposal. Id rather Ellard over both to pursue with.
Wheres Thornton? Why are we pursuing with a ruck as the fwd option, surely 12 weeks evidence it diesn work shoult suffice.
Wheres Lucas? This kid is going to leave cos hes not getting a chance. Pitiful. The only explanation that would cover it is if hes told ratts hes leaving already. Even then id rather up his currency.

On a positive note Collins & McInnes in. Two guys that should have been in last week.

Going by selection Ratts is admitting defeat.

Warnock as an emergency is a little suss.

Good to see Casboult back in the VFL,

Thornton been told he won't play again under Rats.

Another example of how the whipping boys are treated.

You never know, Rats may be gone before Tbird.

Under How many more coaches will we see.lazy off the ball gone, and has been for his whole career.Except for a few games ,he can do it but unfortunatley he is spineless with regards to what it takes these days, every game not when he feels like it!!!!!!

Ellard is droped because he is an in and under that cant clear a pack
He gets his kicks and handballs smothered all the time

The bloke that has replaced him hasnt got a clue

Shows our lack of midfield depth

Yep, that's why we probably need to gun for Boak.

Those selections are a joke.

Kreuzer needs to be rested, Jeff needs a boot up his ass and McLean just needs to @#$%&! right off!!!!!

Ellard?????? WTF?????
Hell - Jeff is my favourite player but i'd take Ellard over him anyday based on form recently!

Glad the newbie's been given a chance but for the love of Christ, those selections show the MC are playing with themselves. We're as good as [REDACTED].
Pies by 10 goals easily.

Joke.

Is Ellard Sam Mitchell?

If Curnow plays well, then Ellard isn't going to push Murphy out once he's back. Ellard was poor against Hawthorn. Curnow is bigger and a player who runs hard both ways like Carrots. Better fit for Collingwood who have a tall midfield.

Garlett got closer to the ball than Rioli who played four quarters. Don't know why he's in the gun.
