Ellard is really stiff. Good to see McInnes get a game. But our forward line just doesn't have the firepower unfortunately.

I don't get it.

If he's gone at years end it wouldn't surprise me.

He is contracted for next year but they may trade him.

Can't kick winning scores with that forward line.

Garlett is the luckiest footballer in the AFL. Should have been dropped weeks ago. Let me make a prediction for this game - he'll hit the post when kicking for goal.

Don't rate Curnow so I am not that excited about him coming back into the team.

Walker at CHF is not giving me hope that our forward line woes will not continue tomorrow night. Although, we have tried going tall and that has been a disaster. Why not go the other way with a midget forward line. Now that's innovative football strategy for you.

Hate thinking this but Pies by about 8- 10 goals.

Might be nice if he got a game so the people can see what they are buying.

Only a dumb football club would trade away a first round pick who has had next to no game time this season....

Every week, this year, last year, the year before, every week people bitch about selections. I've been using to set my watch by for years, bloody AFL changing the timing this year.

Team selection yet again. The injured and out of form stay in. Certainly changes at MC level next yer.

Why isn't Thornton in.

The things that is annoying is that the top sides aren't that good. I mean who are these guys - Sinclair, Williams, Buckley, Fasolo, Elliot, Paine. They'd be lucky to have 50 games between them, and barely a top 50 pick amongst them. Add to that battlers like Toovey, Goldsack, Blair. Dawes is a log and Jolly can barely get off the ground. Harry O is like a startled rabbit when he is one on one near goals. I know, I said the same about the Hawks. And I know they will probably beat us by 10 goals, but they are hardly the Lions of 01-03. How can we be so far behind about 8 sides. They have Pendlebury out, Ben Johnson, Krakouer, Didak, Tarrant, Ball.

What excuse do we trot out if we cop a thumping from this lot? The fact that we are all expecting a belting indicates how woeful we are. On paper I don't think we are out talented by that much. On the park, a different story.

I like the Collins selection I think he adds something and has a dip
Mccinnes by all reports has been going well so good luck to him
Curnow v Ellard hmmm we go from a guy who gets the ball and gets his kicks and handpasses smothered to a guy that runs up and down the ground like a headless chook

Congratulations to young McInnes. Surprised that Ellard was dropped and thought Thornton would come in. I have the feeling Warnock will leave at seasons end, we wont get proper compensation though if wants to go to GWS.
At least the 3 players to come in are in good form in the VFL.

Good luck young Andrew, welcome to the big-time. Well earned
(hopefully his teammates don't leave him out to dry)

Ellard stiff as a board, Warnock a very curious call (rest Kreuz FFS), as is the non-selection of Thornton or Lucas. Something we're not being told, no doubt.
