Took my son too the Carlton clinic yesterday. Congrats to Juddy and Murph during the quiz session for the manner in which they conducted themselves, respected the kids' questions and represented the club. As for Brock McLean, you showed what a complete, utter tool you are! Some kid asks how much we will beat Collingwood by and in a smartarse tone Brock says "Nah fanx" and hands the microphone back. Utter ignorant idiot. Mark Murphy had the smarts to have a word in his ear and got him to have another go, so Brock blurt out "110 points". Wouldn't have been too hard to say "Well, we are really going to try hard ...... etc etc". Would have throught he might have tried to endear himself a bit to those gathered given recent events but showed himself to be an ignorant goose. Well done to Health Scotland who looked after the little kids in my son's group so well during the clinic and to many of the other players too. As for Waite, Robbo and a few others, surely you can stand in front of a group of supporters while other players are being interviewed without the need to restle, bump and generally act like fools. Most of the kids wouldn't have noticed, but geez we have a long way to go before I will be proud of the manner in which many of our players represent our club. The club shouldn't have to send a minder out with the players but clearly it needs to. I just can't imagine the likes of Collingwood, Hawthorn, Geelong and Essendon* allowing the childish and disrespectful behaviour on display yesterday from some of our players.
*sigh*
