I am not sure who is going to coach the club next - but sincerely hope it aint no Collingwood hack, especially a @#$%&! rookie they can all fo back to Collingwood with Swan.

Paul Roos has the correct age, experience and credentials. Difficult to get him..but the club needs to zero in on him.

Question was who YOU think should coach Carlton? Roos is not in the market.

I'll look at Justin Leppitsch, Brendan Lade, Adam Kingsley before any Collingwood hack.

Does he get to bring Cloke with him????

Cloke would be a step in the wrong direction IMO.

Seriously? Put Cloke at CHF in a full-strength Carlton team and we are certainties to make the top four and possibly even top two. He is exactly what we need. I would make a big play for him.

McLean & Warnock wages combined is close to $1 MLN we probably need to spread that out to ~$500k and get a couple of bonafides and add to the list. Hopefully a decent draft pick out of Robbie too. Way I see it atm.

makes sense to me j.scarponi.
reckon we should target a player like charlie dixon/robbie tarrant.
gerard healys comments on our three ruckmen make great sense.
trade one of them to pick up a key forward or another first round pick, named warnock as the one.

Not sure why this needs a separate thread. But I would hire Malthouse to do the review. He did set up 2 very successful teams and knows what it takes.

Malthouse is now a talking Carlton god.
Malthouse this, Malthouse that.
Lets get on our knees and bow to a ex Collingwood coach.

Why the hell would Malthouse want to help us with a review. He is ex collingwood filth.

Malthouse is 62 in august. Even if Mick Malthouse wants to coach next year, he will be a year or two year coach. He won't be a long term coach. If we sack Ratten with the intention of hiring Malthouse and he doesn't want to coach, what then? Laidley, Choco williams, Mark Harvey or untried coach?

I'm over hearing about Malthouse. Malthouse isn't going to pull a key forward out of his ass last time i checked. He will be there 1-2 years max then back to media after he has collected his retirement cash.

I see nothing here that suggests he's got what it takes to win flags and be a great.. In fact his resume is littered with losing GF and wooden spoons...the added bonus he's a Collingwood goose to boot. We have plenty of Collingwood hacks at the club - I guess one more won't hurt. When the !@#$%& did this internal take over from these toothless hacks happen so quickly

hey j.inocraponli, last time I checked that loser Nathan Buckley's career was littered with losing grand finals as well. Another Colligwood hack and goose???
