Collective stuidity is pretty bad.. cos the whole point of a group is to cancel each others malakies out whilst bringing in fresh indinvidual ideas

There is no possible way a review will vindicate them for the multiple errors under their watch.

So whatever review will come to be.. if any ... it will be window dressing only

Synners, as you well know, there are some on the board who have the Kahuna's to call it like it is.

The momentum is shifting, and if the right people push for the review then there won't be any window dressing.

There is plenty that can (& should) be read into the public mutterings of Carlton people this week. Parkin's comments re coaching from the boundary line, Ratts being withdrawn from media today, the claim the we can still "mathematically" make the 8, the tide is turning and whilst it may be slower than some want, it is turning nonetheless.

Cloke would be a step in the wrong direction IMO.

Provided Peter Sidwell wasn't involved in negotiations, I'd support that appointment.

Why's that?

Good to hear Ockham, your last mail was spot on.

also tell me he's coaching history?
do you have any idea where he is coaching?
do you know the wraps on him throughout the afl football community?

two key forwards and two inside mids, done.

If I may ask, is that what you want to happen or what is going to happen?

Highly rated by the WCE and if MM comes on as mentor he can continue with a lot of his media.

It's certainly preferable to having MM on his own.

So was he a midfield coach for West Coast in 2010 when they won the the wooden spoon?
Whats the rave with him? That Shuey & Selwood have become good players from 2008 & 2007 drafts?
How many grandfinals did he lose as a player?
I think you would be disaaponted if your high draft picks in the midfield were outright hacks 4-5 years into their development.
Kane Lucas drafted 2009 is a right off already? I do agree that we need to get rid of our ex Collingwood assistant losers.

I see nothing here that suggests he's got what it takes to win flags and be a great.. In fact his resume is littered with losing GF and wooden spoons...the added bonus he's a Collingwood goose to boot. We have plenty of Collingwood hacks at the club - I guess one more won't hurt. When the @#$%&! did this internal take over from these toothless hacks happen so quickly

I just have a strong feeling that Malthouse has the job.

If that is the case he will bring in his own people. With any luck Scott Burns will be one along withe people like Simpson, Leppitsch, N.Lappin & Smith.

Rendell to oversee recruiting if we cant get Wells or Hine.

A recently retired player (McDonald) to coach Northern Blues.

The club has it backwards if they're just handing out coaching appointments at round 14 and not doing due diligence at the end of the year. Truly crazy town if this happens.

Shane Rogers and Wayne Hughes don't need to be sacked for Rendell. I don't understand the criticism of Rogers and Hughes by some who have more interesting ratings. Mitchell never was a top ten pick. Love how the recruitment of Laidler and Bootsma sent all the armchair scouts into meltdown.
