In the back ground, however, they are developing their players so Sidebottom and Beams were ready. If the same players were at our club they be swimming in the same contimated water that exists now. At season's end the whole club needs to audited from top to bottom and performance evaluated by an external organisation. Unfortunately board members are like pollies, eager to maintain power and protect their patch, rather than doing what's best for the club or country. I stopped voting years ago.

Our aim should be to return to being the best run club in the country with the best development program and the rest will take care of itself, otherwise a new coach will simply just buy the board more time but the foundations will still be crumbling under foot.
