Story of the day was young Shane Nelson. Father passed away this week and was BOG. Kid was overlooked in last years draft when tipped to go top 20. He's like a skinny Dale Thomas. There will never be much of him, but what there is is all class.

Nelson would be a perfect fit for Carlton. We could take it up to the sides that ragdoll us by playing Simpson, Garlett, Betts, Buckley, Bootsma, Lucas, Dale, Armfield, Ellard, Murphy and Nelson.

You forgot the new slim lined Lucas.

Thought the same thing myself. But of those only Murph and Simmo have him covered as a midfielder. He's very much a Simmo replacement.

The rest are not real on-ballers and he's a serious talent, but yes the Hawks, Cats, Pies, and West Coast dont have many of his type. Apart from maybe Gaff, who is a lightweight physically and in playing style.

We are only going to have one true KPP in this match in back and forward lines - a 7 gamer Matthew Watson.
..and I am still going to attend because I believe in miracles.

No matter how I look at this game, I keep thinking record books, and not in a good way.

Ratten being shielded from the media shows how far we've sunk, as it shows we're afraid of accountability, and the playing group surely must be further demotivated (if that's possible).

Collingwood must be relishing the chance to deliver maximum humiliation and to prove how our win in round three was an aberration.

Might be good to watch the intro on Friday nite, and then switch to round 3.

It's ok. Ratts said our next win is right around the corner. And we are practicing.

The have half a forward line that works. Where as we dont have one at all. They have a FF and a CHF. We have a ruck man as our FF and Betts as our CHF :banghead:

If McInnes, Thornton, Lucas & Curnow rip it up on training track then they sould be selected.

Watson will get Cloke.
McInnes should get Dawes , because he is a hack and McInnes does the right things nicely.
Thornton at CHF
Hampson FF

If Big Kreuz is injured and by all reports he is- please don't play him.

Opportunity for Lucas to have a massive break out game.

Theyre as flat as pancakes these days.

Even when we win games they sing the song with little gusto .
Theyre not enjoying themselves

It is hard for the players knowing they will get hammered as we have no key position players to field on match day
