Just a question - if there is a review and in chance happenstance the extrenal audit was found not be your liking and along the lines of injuries etc - would you accept it?

I'm sure they will come out of any serious review smelling of roses...................

and the review will recommend more of the same....

Is that what youre imagination is telling you Scarps?

No I am asking, you don't have to agree with the review but would you accept it?

As for whether I think a review needs to be done, I am the last one to panic in these situations . The club needs to come down hard on the fundamental weaknesses of the football department and needs to be done with excellent tangible results.
Scoreboard results and the unwashed suggest it is Ratten - others like McKay suggest it is fitness and conditioning. I think there is a possibilty that there is a combination of the two. But I shall lean towards McKay's reasoning more.

I have no idea whether Ratten is the man to take the list from good to great. But the club certainly needs to review its football operations and fix all the holes. If that hole only consists in the fitness and conditioning department, so be it. Just fix it.

Anyone else notice Aaron Joseph say "We have a few things set in place now that will help us moving forward" after coming out of the post-game meeting? Mentioned it twice. Second time referred to 'a thing' i.e. singular.

I hope this means players who are injured will be out, and new players will come in for the rest of the season or something similar.

I find it hard to imagine Joseph speaking cryptically,or sending subliminal messages.

I find it easy to imagine that AJ would mention that there was going to be a big change if they were just told it since he was on the spot in front of a camera.

Of course it could be nothing at all. I just hope it is a sign of something being done! lol

Maybe it's McKay that is the issue, only downhill since his arrival....... Who else has arrived since the end of last season...?

Fitness wasn't a problem when we were Premiership favorites or preseason when we chose to rest players or when Ratts said we would rest players through the season ready for finals. It's a recent excuse pulled out of a hat.

It's one of a series of feeble excuses and they haven't been pulled out of a hat....

Also, apparently Sheehan thinks Gavin Brown will be interim coach. Would've thought Richardson would be the obvious choice.

In any case, it looks like change may be about to happen one way or another.

Mike Sheehan also mentioned on 3AW that Ratten had been pulled out of all media today, interesting.
The fact that he was told to coach from the box also suggests that something is going behind the scenes.
BT on channel 7 tonight suggested that the board was looking at his position and things may be clearer in the coming weeks.

Excuses for some, reasons for others. Either way I am not too overly fussed which side the majority of this board sits. But can you name the last time we fielded four true KPP ?

Provided Peter Sidwell wasn't involved in negotiations, I'd support that appointment.

No Thanks to Scott Burns & MM - I see no mysterious attributes from this ex- GF Colliwobble chocker that has the capacity to make a great coach.

We have enough ex Collingwood hacks on the payroll as it is

I just have a strong feeling that Malthouse has the job.

If that is the case he will bring in his own people. With any luck Scott Burns will be one along withe people like Simpson, Leppitsch, N.Lappin & Smith.

Rendell to oversee recruiting if we cant get Wells or Hine.

A recently retired player (McDonald) to coach Northern Blues.

Is this the inside word? You suggest these with conviction.
