Why couldn't we try someone like Hampson on Buddy for a bit? he has the speed and height to go with him. Franklin would lead him to the footy.
Franklin will always get a kick. I think the trick is to make him chase because he hates it. It also drags him outside the danger zone.

Or Walker. Every time we get the footy in the back half, go to Walker and let him run off. Walker is a lot shorter than Buddy but has the smarts at ground level and the pace to run with him. He also has a huge tank and we know Buddy is quick but blows up after a run.

I think Buddy is far and away the most dangerous player in the comp. The secret is to try and limit his opportunities upfield and when he does get it, make him kick from tight angles or from outside 50. If he misses a couple early he is shot to ribbons.

I can't see us winning this but I would still like to see Ratts try something outside the square.

You will be waiting a while

Had a dream last night that I was on the train and didn't know the score, but asked someone on the train what it was. She then looked it up on her phone and showed me that at full time scores were; Them 16.6.99 Us 8.14.86. You heard it here first.

I've never bought the "Hampson is an elite athlete" line. I've never really seen it as he rarely runs more than 30 metres at a time and then stops, props and rests for a bit. If he is this elite athlete can we see it please? Otherwise can we take a look at footballers? If he can run well then he should be able to push Franklin which wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing but what happens to the setup following that?

Think your dream might have been a little blurry Stone...16.6 is 102 and 8.14 is 62. Even so, 8.14 is far too accurate for us, reckon 8.22.70 is a more realistic outcome.

They are not that good FFS. Have a bit of belief. If you aint got that belief, I really don't know why you bother and you should all take up another interest.

Spot on, i dont care who we play, if we want it more we will win. We have the players there, in my opinion its always been about the passion and want. Im not saying we are certainties, but if we want the ball and go hard we can win

GO BLUES!

It’s my sons 8th bday today. He’s a mad Carlton supporter (he had no choice  ) and watches most games with me. He’s always wanted to go to Melb to watch a game. So today he got tickets to Carl v Rich at the G with his dad taking him on his first ever Melb footy trip. He also got a new clash jumper, which he wanted, and a few other Carlton bits and pieces. Myself and my wife have never seem him so excited and I was so happy this morning.

Then my thoughts turned to the current state of our club and my happiness quickly disappeared.

Frankly, I’m hate feeling like this. Horrible, horrible emotions. Frustration, anger, depression, unhappiness. I’m literally gutted and heartbroken about what has happened and what is happening to our club.

It’s time to make a stand, time to turn this sh** around. Starting Fri night. I hope the players and coaches are as over it as I am and simply do whatever it takes to beat the Hawks.

No more improved performances and honourable losses. Only a win will suffice.

That was my minimum required performance last week. We failed and in reality we were pathetic for much of the game.

If we don't give a yelp and get done by 60+ , surely he has to go.

"We certainly need to get some wins on the board pretty quickly, but we're not putting too much pressure on ourselves either," Jamison told reporters on Thursday"

Can someone please tell me why they're not putting pressure on themselves? 5 losses out of the last 6 games, at what point to they decide to put a little pressure on?
