Since our season is probably shot I won't be too unhappy if they beat us on Fri night.

That is the saddest, most depressing post i have ever read.

Could be worse, he could've added that they have a great team song.....

nah, it's not as good as......

(Re: Brock)

Talk about over the top.

The guys feeling a bit crap ... some brave unknown decides to needle him ... he drops a verbal back, (probably the first insult that came to mind) ... realised he'd said the wrong and retracted it.

What's the problem? Get on with the day and forget I say. I wonder how many of the critics judge themselves so harshly?

Are people confident Brock is out based on yesterday's comment or something else?

Can't see the point in replacing him with Curnow tbh.

Does anyone actually talk about the game on here, or is it all sarcastic smarta$$es on here?

^ Agreed.

So, Hendo on Franklin you'd have to say. Reckon he could keep him reasonably quiet. I'd say based on our inability to contain small forwards of late that Cyril might be the big issue.

It's normally the spuds that tear us up
Paul Puopolo may kick 8
Isaac Smith will have 35 and 10 tackles with 4 goals :banghead:

Not sure Hendo would keep up. Groin issues too.

I think Bower will come in for the gig. He is in good form in the two's and might just be up for a solid task.

Can anyone also qualify the McInnes selection calls, also?

Yeah, will probably get a game before seasons out to work out whether we give him another year, but really....how many games have you all seen him play? Let alone good ones?

"Ooo, a new name, emergencies, he must be good. Wouldn't even have the foggiest what position he plays, but he'll do. Anyone but the incumbent! Someone else! Someone else!"

wow. It seems the club have a different view, rhino!
Andy is ready for a crack and deserves it. We need a harder edge and he will certainly bring that

The same club whose view on just about anything and everything, that has been routinely shit on for the past 2 months?

McInnes and Bootsma both play essentially the same position. Bootsma has shown a capability of contributing to the side whilst in it, arguably as a higher pick you'd also make the loose connection he has greater upside. McInnes has had the distinction of being the best player in an otherwise ordinary side, and is probably only being looked at for selection for 2013 list management purposes, rather than his form.

Deserves a run but not at the risk of possibly playing finals, and potentially at the expense of a better prospect.

Why can't he and Boots both be played?
Seriously do we have to be 0-11 and bottom of the table before we try some players?
The season is shot as of now, get him in and reward his form in the 2's
If we don't give players games at this point, when do we?

Bootsma and Watson only played because we had no choice. All other options injured or stinking the joint up so bad they couldn't be selected.

Ratts survival is the teams survival. If they somehow get back up and about and we make a prelim i am sure we will all be happy. If he doesn't he loses his gig.

Everyone will get a turn when/if it is no longer possible for us to make the finals.

Things that are going to make me spew if our game plan is like this Friday night.

Too worried about double/triple teaming Buddy, letting others run free and kicking soft and easy goals.
Letting hawks have a spare man in our F50 e.g. Gibson. Gibbo will have a game high 40 spoils the way the ball gets bombed into our F50.
If the hawks which they will go in hard and low and we roll over and play soft, I'll go nuts..

Cheers

Yeah I reckon it is too soon.

Lose the Roos and the Dogs, assuming we lose the next two also, and yeah shut the gate. For now, that's four weeks of variables that I intend to hang on to, for some extremely perverse reason..
