Loved Jezza. Had his number on my back and wore it to school most days. My name can be nicknamed Jazza or Jezza so i copped Jezza and went about trying to take speckies every lunch break.
When he left i was a confused young boy. Asked Wayne Harmes why Jezza left at school footy clinic. Harmes looked me in the eye and said "because he is a puppet". I left that clinic an even more confused young boy.

Betts Henderson Kruezer/Hampson
Garlett Waite Walker

Best forward line possible for us currently. EOS.

Id go with that this year. Walker would still have to rotate through the middle though or else we lack the rotations.
We would also have to bring the ball in at the correct pace. Too quick and it will come back out too easy. Too slow would make it too hard to mark as packs will form. Our press would have to be just right too.

There's only one available...guess who.

Sometimes something is better than nothing.

Need other things to change too.

10/10 for consistency Jimbo.

Keep fighting the fight mate, but I don't agree.

Just seeing the great man's name on the TC board makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.

He can do (or say) no wrong in my eyes.

The most electrifying and breathtaking Carlton footballer who ever lived.

Nothing too much wrong with stating we need a power forward.....and a whole lot more, obviously.

Hope life is treating you well Jezza.

We would be much better off drafting Setanta back, much better attitude and would give much more fight in the fwd 50 than most we have today...

I feel you take what you get to give your a chance at least or leave it and have none. Sometimes beggars can't be choosers and if you want a chance to have to punt on what's available however palatable the thought may be. Better than having no chance.

If not one has to throw big $$$$$ at Travis Cloke. Don't care how we get a KP forward, just want to get one.

At a boy club
We need to get extra marking power in the forward line to assist the crummers. This has been our biggest problem all year.
Get the ball in quick and high. If it doesn't get marked let the 2 amigos + midfielder (yes Walker this instance) do the ground work. We have enough altheticism to be able to pressure the opposition ball carriers. My only concern is that we work as a team forward of the centre and make sure we don't allow the oppostion defenders to zone off. Kruezer, Henderson & Waite need to make their opponents accountable! Keep the little men on the ground as well and out of the bigger men's way. Work as a unit!!!!!

I'd agree with that.
Jamison could be a good FF too.

Jezza is a once in a lifetime player.
Killed me that he walked out after the election.
Brent Crosswell as well. Ditto Hamill and Campo,

We've got the forwards to win a flag, but a durable KP wouldn't go astray, to free up Hendo if Waite stands up.

Yeah that is the problem. Its got no power!

Jezza hit the nail on the head
Something i have been screaming out all last season and this season.
Without a power forward it doesnt matter who we have coaching!!!

The club should of had the balls to do a big trade for a big forward at another club or bring back Fev with hard contract clauses in it. The guy kicked 18.5 without training the other day, he is a freak. With all the bad and the good, the good meant l enjoyed beating top 4 teams while he was at the club.

We are the Western Bulldogs who were a top 4-6 team, but will never win a flag without a power forward. That is a fact. Malthouse won't fix that or any other coach.

We won't look forward or try something strategic. Try Watson!!! I remember trying osier, Scott Howells, roman welsh, ditch urn, Ralph. They didn't all work but we used to attempt to find solutions

There are facts and negativity. I'm not on here saying stuff like judd has wasted a 100 games, we need to change the board, we need to sack the coach, we need kernahan sacked blah blah blah to fix the club. We are only missing one piece of the puzzle. We got the backline, we got the midfield, we just need one more key forward. we are always going to struggle winning a premiership without 2 x key forwards. Plain and simple.

IF we get a big bastard forward next year, we will probably be in the big game come seasons end next year
