I would ignore that intelligence Synbad. There were people whispering up all sorts of stuff at the game today. I went out at all the breaks to see this so called in house coach fighting. I saw absolutely nothing and then when i got back to the wing whispers started up again about something that someone saw. It was rubbish. If you saw the crew spreading this stuff and heard some of their other calls you would take it with a grain of salt. All good fun but you would have to be someone who loves a good conspiracy to be taken in by it.
I concur - that stuff is played out behind close doors - so there's always some that are going to clutch at straws. But look at my sugar coating history. I used to disagree with Synbad on everything and that's because he painted a bleaker picture than what was necessary. But his bleakness isn't too far removed from the truth. I'm quite sure if we knew the whole truth - we'd walk away now...before our heart broke further.
But in a year where no team looks over-dominant, everyone is beatable and a flag in all likelihood will be up for grabs - it's extremely disappointing that our team has no intensity, our coaches are out of ideas and our board has little idea of the clubs direction. You'd hope that at least 1 out of 3 was on track. Unfortunately, none are. We're up shit creek...we have a paddle - but it's a rake.
You may well be speaking truths but stories of coaches fighting at quarter time breaks today were far fetched and fueled by frustrated fans and chinese whispers. You could see the story gathering momentum as the teller moved from one pack of fans to the next.
Then we all went for a look at 3quarter time, saw nothing and then watched the storyteller add more to his tale when back at our perch. Funny stuff.
