I received the Member Survey in my email yesterday. Most of usual questions but there is a comments section at the end of the survey where you are invited to make general comments about the club. I certainly used that opportunity to voice the concerns that many have raised in this thread.

Not sure how much impact it will have but I think if everybody voices their concerns in that forum then at least the club will have to ACTIVELY ignore it.

I thought they did do that didn't they?? I saw a video on the website that showed them getting Juddy, Murph and some of the other players to call up previous members and asking them why they hadnt re-signed as members and trying to convince them to re-sign.

Yeah...Nah...

You must be special. I'm yet to receive it.
I did however receive an email yesterday asking me to confirm my details which I did.

The same as I did last week...and the week before...

Fantastic organisation.

Similarly, mrs camel gets all the membership emails (we assume) and I'm lucky to get one in ten.

To be fair I've not yet raised that issue with the club, but I have logged into the membership portal on the club's website and re-confirmed my email address and ticked the relevant "send me messages" box. Worked for about a week, now I seem to have dropped off the radar again.

I've actually unsubscribed a couple of times but the emails keep appearing - maybe that's your solution

Better still, just direct them to the TC site and the "Sticks - The Grand Illusion" thread. At least they will have some decent "terms of reference" for any post season review

Thought about that but that requires them to actually do something (i.e. click on the website) - too hard, we have to make it easy for them to see the problem

I was just kidding but I'm sure we all still know some that are hanging onto the "Fev" dream.
Was having some nice Yum Cha on Wednesday until the other party wanted to discuss getting back Fev.............again.

At least the club had the initiative to phone for members a few weeks back, but it was a little too late by then.

Just read this - How dare Sticks OK this type of spending without running it past TC first

While mystery will surround Judd's physical condition until he plays next Friday night, there has been no mystery about Carlton's horrendous injury problems despite the club's massive spending increase last year on sports science.

According to confidential AFL figures obtained by The Australian last month, the Blues spent $2.4 million on fitness and conditioning, more than any other club in the competition, and double what Western Bulldogs outlaid.

Collingwood was the next-highest, outlaying $1.8 million.

Doing nothing - no innovation at all

Good thing Jeanne didn't demand the Presidency then...we'd probably be discussing things far worse.

spending money does not it itself mean its money well spent.
what are the innovations you are talking about?

Well the trip to the most elite training facility in the world is a start

The more stuff like this that pops up the more is appears Sticks and the board are giving the football department every opportunity to improve

You should probably do some homework on that SB before you clutch at more straws.

I don't think we'll be seeing many more heat acclimatization camps.

Just in case we have a 31 degree temperature for Grand Final Day - just like back in 1987.

It had nothing to do with our injuries but i would have hoped for better with our fitness and abitlity to run hard for 120mins.

Collingwood always said that the true benefits of the Arizona trips wont be seen until they had been there 2 or 3 times.
