10 things to try - Time to select players in more natural positions

1. Play Collins as a forward for whole game, that is what he did at Richmond kicked a goal per week.
2. Play Gibbs in the center and across half forward, remember he kicked 6 in SANFL when he was 16
3. Play Yarran forward
4. Play Kruezer as Ruck Rover follower
5. Play Walker off a wing, remember his first game.
6. Play Betts and Garlett on the ball at times
7. Play Russell on a wing - Last chance
8. Rest Judd up forward more often
9. Ruckman to be targetted when kicking in - Worke when Madden and Hunter worked together
10. Play a more disciplined game that involves more 1 percenters, run for your team mate, punch when behind, disciplined punching out of bounds and for points when under pressure. protect the ball carrier when sheppards and blocks. Play from in front, drop in the hole when defending.

Back in Melbourne for this one. My only game for the past two years so I hope we have a good one.

#10 is pretty basic and has always been there. The game can be quite simple.

Swans and Pies are no more talented than our teams, they do the disciplined things.

All the other points are meaningless without point 10.

Unfortunately, our team is about 9 points short of a clue.

Sounds like:

Out: Joseph, Collins, McLean/Ellard, Garlett

In: Hampson, Waite, Laidler, Lucas

Lucas, Walker & Waite forward, Robinson into more of a midfield role, Yarran & Tuohy can lock down more if needed and our frontal pressure is more or less restored despite the loss of a little speed in Jeff. Ellard has been ok in patches, but I would say Brock manages to do more through the four quarters. Not sure how long we should be carrying the three ruck system to be honest, but Kreuzer needs to freshen up and be able to leap to be a successful ruckman.

Hey all. :)

just rearranging the deckchairs on the Titaic.
Seriously underdrilled and poor set ups.

Not going anywhere unless things get sorted out.

To me were so poorly coached it isnt even funny.

This 3 ruckmen trick is crap.
DOES NOT WORK

I've been saying for ages we should play 1 ruck, yep just 1.
Add the extra runner.
Hendo can do the forward rucking
Seriously try something different

2 rucks aren't doing enough to justify the loss of run, let alone 3
PLAY 1 and watch the difference

Why do we lack run???

Every other team has 2 ruckmen???

Nah its not that...!
We just dont have enough skilled ballwinners.
And we definitely have the wrong body shapes

What is the harm in trying, synbad?
We can't get any worse
Cox and nicnat regularly have 40+ disposals between them and get forward and take contested marks and hit the scoreboard. Ours have 2 marks between the 3 of them, kick 1 goal and a combined 10 disposals
Play an extra small who can find the ball. And run. And apply tackles and defensive pressure

Its not that which is killing us.
Its our set ups and the way were attempting to play the game.

Were just throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

This club seriously needs a new coaching group... this sausage is done.
Each time i see us play i realise how were trying to fight with one hand tied behind ur backs.

This Ratten misadventure has run its course.

Seriously....someone needs to stand up to Jordan Lewis and the rest of Clarkson's sniping scum.

Who cares if it results in a suspension - clean the !@#$%& up!!!!!!!

I honestly hope that Judd is in Arizona at the time.
