Gut feel is Krooz won't play, so Hendo to CHF, Jamo and Watson down back for the talls.

Might be worth trying Simmo off half back this week - it may throw a spanner in the works for Cats as they (and the rest of the AFL) know it's now only a matter of stopping Judd and Simmo and we're shot with the other major mids out.

I'd have Zach doing Simmo's role, I've been told he has the motor and he'll be very handy with his bulk and attitude around the stoppages.

AJ is our run with player for Bartel, probably. Like many around here, his days as a small backman should be well behind him.

Just want the MC to try something different FFS. Gibbs forward, Tex more in the middle etc etc.

*SIGH*

Have put Money on Geelong tonight to win by 39+ points............... But honestly I would love to come out a looser!

Even if we get beaten by 1 or 2 points, I don't care - I just want to see us show a bit of heart and have a go!

Don't give a stuff if we make mistakes.......... so long as they show the desire to try!

If they ream us by more than 39 points we'll still be looser

For the first time in two years, tonight I will attend a Carlton game fully expecting to lose.

Expect to sit calmly in my seat, sink a few ale's and shake my head frequently.

...hoping to not embassas ourselves too much.

Go Blues... I still luvs ya

I'm going to get drunk tonight at the game I think.

Politely drunk that is.

we are a 58% chance of winning tonight according to the Massey Ratings - http://masseyratings.com/team.php?t=15071&s=180792

Don't like many of the odds for the rest of the year.

That is still a 42% chance of us losing. Wonder how Massey had us last week.

Greg Swann is on SEN right now as said Kreuzer was definitely playing tonight.

One never knows these days though.

Nurse him through the season rather than have him miss 6-8 with an op ? That is my guess.

That's what I'd do, given the choice.

Geelong by as much as they please until Carlton find some heart across the entire playing group.

If that happens tonight an upset could loom.

Not sure if it can be (re)discovered in a week.

How does such a disaster occur from such promise?

FWIW Sam Newman was hesitant to pick Geelong on TFS, reckoned teams with their backs to the wall can come out firing.

I'm not sure he's seen just how little fire we've displayed over the last month and a half

Confidence can easily skyrocket in game, hopefully it happens tonight and will be keeping warm in my Blues gear watching the boys turn the season around from the abyss..likely bottomed out last week with no forward line, whatsoever. Kreuzer and Hendo back gives us a chance and the mentally weak players such as Curnow and Bower that are seriously bereft of any confidence won't bring the team down further in game. Hendo, Kreuzer and Duigan are mentally tough players and we need that tonight.

Fair summation. Whether acknowledged or not, the injury toll has been massive.
