Reckon the Cats are good, but not quite as good as they have been.No doubt a great outfit but also very beatable.Pretty simple i reckon,i reckon it amounts to hardness at the aggott.Match them in that area and we can do it.I think we will lift and come home with the bacon...............its about the jumper and what it stands for.Forget about commitee, coaches, and whoever, its time for the players to show if they have any pride in the old dark navy blue.Reckon they need to be reminded they are not with any old shitpot outfit but have the HONOUR of representing The Carlton Football Club.

It's disappointing but the MC obviously believes he's not doing what's required ,if he can't get in ahead of at least 5 of our guys.

If McInnes plays that's a bigger setback for Lucas because from the looks of him he looks a similar player?....surely Lucas could play that role.

Lucas will play as a (very) outside on-baller down the track and has been groomed to play as a forward this year, whereas McInnes is more of a 3rd tall/defensive flanker.

Lucas started in the backline and looked good, Why not give him another shot.

Another flanker? Someone shod do a breakdown of our list and see how many flanker types there are (or direct me to where this has been done).

Maybe we should have a week where we play every flanker type on our list (once all fit), would be fantastic to watch!

Good if McInnes is in the mix. A look at some of the untried blokes will help towards better list management decisions later in the year.

Third games in a row for Bootsma, McLean, Joseph and Collins. Hopefully one or more of them will now be ready to play a really good game for us.

Maybe Lucas has been told that a few of the other blokes will get blocks of games and his turn will come? Got no idea if thats true or not.

Need the whole side to lift, play as a team, not as individuals, and we are a chance.

That said, some inspirational plays can lift a side. Who will rise to the occasion? Will the rest respond?

needs 3 good games before being considered? [lucas]
so carlton gets flogged and, hampson, joseph, armfield, simpson and gartlett continue along very nicely.
reckon lucas needs as many games as the boys above and see how good he is.

That's the problem at the moment because, due to injuries, the boys know, regardless of how well or how bad they play, they're still almost guaranteed a spot the next week because there is no-one to replace them.
