Basically, if you are 3 + years in the system and not getting a game soon you are at the end of your career with the Blues.

My only concern here is that Lucas can't get a game. A guy with his ability should just be getting picked in the first 10 by now.

I don't know if he's sh1t or we are, but it's frustrating the hell out of me.

He's not shit, we watched him play some pretty good games in his first season, he has gone backwards, that IMO is the development system and/or lack of direction by the MC.

I actually think we will win this weekend... Geelong arent travelling a lot better than us, and they hate Etihad almost as much as us..

I was just as angry as everyone on the weekend, but the season isnt over. I think we have all been burnt thinking 17-18 wins are needed to get to 4th..Most years 14 with a decent percentage gets you there.

Now we obviously need to make the 8 first before thinking of top 4, but if we can split the next 2, we will have some back for Hawthorn and Collingwood...

Clearly confidence is down, but a win on Friday will restore that feeling again...

Run the ladder predictor and see how many wins top 4 has. Even try to be conservative and put in a couple of upsets along the way.

the problem with lucas is simple,
no doubt he is getting sick and tired of being the sub
when he gets a full game, [2], he goes forward, then on the wing, then drops back
he just needs to be played full stop
would not blame him if he wants to go home at seasons end, its a joke
how many games has bower/russell/joseph/armfield played?
give him opportunities like those above and see how he goes, bull#$%t
watch watson get dropped this week, after playing well last week

Geez I must really be over this week.
I just did a quick run through looking for Wookies preview videos before realising it's only Tuesday.
I guess a week really is a long time in football, (some weeks anyway).

The squad should be made to watch this game this week

http://www.blueseum.org/tiki-index.php? ... +3%2C+2001

Quote:
Carlton were given little chance of beating the undefeated reigning premiers, especially following the late withdrawal of three champion players in Silvagni (bruised hip), Bradley (calf strain) and Koutoufides (flu), on top of the long term loss of Allan (stress fractures foot).

Just flower dig in Blues!!! :fight: :fight:

Play young players, cop the losses, get a top 10 pick, reload for next year.

I just hope all Carlton supporters can get there regardless of their thoughts of the situation. A big crowd is needed.

Remember this. On a Thursday night wasn't it?

Lappin kicked that 70-80m torp out of the middle for a goal?

Brittain was coach at the time? Incidentally, I remember Kouta saying he felt Britts was the best coach he had played under...or the one he connected to most...interesting times.

Edit - yep here's that goal

I reckon Murray Vance is a chance to get called up this week.

Reckon the boys'll play out of their skins like its their last day on Earth, beat the Cats convincingly and leave everyone in the footy world even more frustrated and confused.

It's the Carlton way.
