I am not comfortable where the team's form is at but very comfortable where the club is at , possibly the worst time to demand changes as teams confidence is abysmal.. as for the club go for your life at end of season.. we still got a chance to give this a shake

Now you've lost me. No one on here is being defeatist. They are concerned about what is going on with their club and want it fixed and fixed quickly so we can contend.

Psyche it's time to use your psyche abilities and work out what's going on here....

Teams form at the moment is below average. Doesnt mean form cant be turned around. Need few players back for it to happen.,,and I believe it can happen. If this was the frm with 2-3 players out instead of 7-8 key players out I would be pissed. No need for drastic changes just key players returning asap.

Why do people here like to heckle and snipe.. do they really do that in real life? Sad.

yes but the clubs performance is average.
average president
average coach
average development
average tactics
average recruiting
average membership
average profile
average sponsorship

of course thats why the club cant break on through to the other side.

Its an average organisation.

So a hiccup and we below average

We need to be the best not copy the best - I have heard to much crap from the Football Department about the "Geelong" model.

Geelong have donevery well, but in terms of emulating them..what for? I reckon we have more going for us. Their stars will drop off the radar in 2-3 years and Joel Selwood will be a soul survivor with his average battlers with a gun forward and no defence. Great team that got very lucky or were very shrewed in the draft. Don't know which one

Shrewd or lucky, you cant have it both ways.

As for Selwood being a soul survivor (is he a from Motown  ) - I think you have underestimated their "shrewd/lucky" drafting.

They have a plethora of young 18 to 20 year old talent:

- Billy Smedts
- Lincoln McCarthy
- Daniel Menzel
- Jordan Shcroder
- Josh Cowan
- Jordan Murdoch (why we didnt pick him instead of Sam Rowe is beyond me)
- Mitch Duncan
- Jed Bews
- Allen Christensen
- Cameron Guthrie
- Steven Motlop
- George Horlin-Smith
- Nathan Vardy
- Shane Kersten

If only a third of these players make it they have done well - and I havent even gone through their rookies.

Shrewd/Lucky.

I would call it good list management.

This is just too much. I keep trying to not respond to you, but do you actually read this stuff that you write.

So, let me get this straight. You rate Carlton highly, you think we're very successful currently, you think Sticks is doing a great..no, better than great job, and you think we're a chance to pinch a flag this year. At the same time, you don't rate Geelong, you think they were lucky winning 3 flags in 5 years, and you feel quite vindicated because this lucky (as opposed to successful) era will only go for another 3 or 4 years?

Geelong 3 flags in 5.
Us 3 spoons in 10 and 1 finals win.
Emulate the best we can be.

Not a pipedream of amateurish calamity!!

Do you remember Geelong's 2007 season? Paul Chapman came out and criticised the clubs culture and teams lack of mental strength and urged the club to change its underacheiving culture. Whoa! Ratten needs full list on park to make such statements and call crisis meetings to talk frank about one another.

Chapman has been my favourite player for a long time

After losing to the Saints in the 04 preseason final said "don't care we're better than them and we'll prove it". This when the Saints looked far more dangerous.

This is a warrior who doesn't give a flower about niceties, he's driven to win and will put the heat on his club to ensure it. In my view he was their best player when the Cats were at their best in 07-09.

Judd is a champion, but he's not a great leader. He's too guarded, he's concerned with being cool tempered and in control.
