True, I agree to a certain extent. But what's to say the current course isnt directed to be the best? I tend to think Andy Mac's administration prowress will come to the fore over the next couple of years I think his IQ superseeds the collective IQ of the board. We have been travelling very well over the past 2-3 years and now in profit and providing I see improvement and a healthy balance sheet, I am content. We are not yet in a position to be the best off field, we need to win a flag first. Are we close? I think we are. I tend to think it can be done this year

Not quite sure what to make of that.

Either Andy McKay is actually Brainiac, or Sticks is semi-retarded but doing a good job though.

If it's both or the latter - is Sticks doing a good job for someone in his position, or a good job in general?

What innovations have been taking pplace ?
Where do we lead the AFL in anything?

How are we up there with the powerhouse clubs of the competiition?
Clubs like Adelaide, West Coast ,Collingwood,Essendon* all fly past us in every aspect of football.

We are average dude!!

Hoping to win a flag to fix the club doesnt work.
It works the other way round.

Average at everything means average at everything and an average club

Sticks is a figurehead - a strong representation & symbolic of sturdyism and leadership. No one wil mess with Sticks, he has the club at heart..he's been very good cleaning up the place and demanding success. Andy Mac's appointment will help the club go to a new level.

When will Sticks's caretaker period end?....

If you dont see Kernahan as a leader then what are you going to see in an investment banker?

How much is the club paying to come on here and dribble this rubbish on every thread.

So long (too long) many of us have been believers but as Synners says (and much to all our bitter disappointment, angst and at times disbelief) we are average at everything and NOTHING seems to change :-(

Where's the "fish rots from the head" thread? It all starts there.

J.Scarponi is an anagram of "Crap Joins".

Which he did.

On April Fools Day.

I think he can go home now.

One liners from you just now is garbage...you're trying to tell me that Kernahan is not a symbol for leadership at the club?

Sticks is a "figurehead".... but he has been actively involved continuously throughout our darkest times... helping turn this great club into an average club.

He is a constant figurehead to mediocrity and rubbish!!!

Of course he is there cos noone messes with him. ... many people need that to not be messed with themselves.

And youre saying Sticks is the figurehead and McKay is the real power now???

Sticks the figurehead...!!!.... we have a figurehead president that we cant change cos hes the most qualified figurehead we have.

Maybe we dont need a figurehead... maybe we need a real president???
