It's still probably easier to spell than coaching midfield stoppages though, in all fairness..

In all fairness, its easier to be happy with our clearances.I just reckon they are atrocious at the moment.Im happy to be shown my deficiencies,in all fairness. If anyone's got one, your the man to find it Rhino.

I just don't see how you improve it, either through a lack of options at VFL level, or any other team in the league having a great record at the stoppages with kids and b-graders, no matter how good their midfield coach is..

In all fairness we are missing two mids out of what 8-9 mid rotations.
One over only 2 weeks.

At last,we agree...................where my problem is,we had a group of very good up and coming assistants who were replaced by so-called experienced veterans who new the caper inside out. They might, but it aint getting through.
Rocket gave Monty a job,and i reckon Rocket would have a clue.Woosha gave Teaugey a gig and i reckon Woosha wouls have a clue. And Mick gave Skinny and Harvey gigs and i am certain Mick would know...........nothing against the current crop of assistants, they are good footy people. But they have been around the block a million times. Its just that i like keen eager young guys out of the game that are hungry to learn .And im not anti Pies if thats what you are thinking Rhino, coz i would take Scott Burns in half a second flat.

My point being, Mick, is that you take any of those names you mentioned - absolutely right - good assistants all of them (except Harvs...that was embarrassing), sign them over for a week, a month, the rest of the season, etc.

And you won't see a difference in the output week in, week out. There's no magic formula, or words that can be said that makes us suddenly great at this over night.

Injuries and poor recruiting in this area make it what it is, and it's only going to change with time.
