Pretty good draft pick with that.

No doubt he will be the face of the cubs membership drive next year....

We'll win 10-12 games this year... whether it's good enough to make finals is another matter

I think we have a good chance against Cats but not with the same players that played last night.

WC is a loss.
Bye
Laidler, Scotland & Carrots return

Hawthorn...the players that hopefully return during the weeks we play Cats & WC have had the required match fitness.. i.e Yarran, Duigan, Waite & Henderson...Laidler and Carrots would be down on match fitness but expected to return here same with Scotland will galvinise the team to perform better...I think it will be close and if we play as a team we have a good chance here too.

Collingwood...have to say loss for now, but that can change... the rest comes down to injury and form.

I say 8, you say 12.

50/50 games if we can get all players back on the park.

Nth Melb
Western Bulldogs
Richmond
Essendon*

No way in hell will we win any of the next 4.

At 6 & 8 it is going to be a long way back to play finals this year.

Carrots is unlikely to be able to be anywhere near the player he was earlier in year.

Should offer Coll` this pick and our second rounder for Ball to protect Juddy. And get in well before Trade Week begins too.

Barring miracles unfortunately we will lose the next 4....and right now we are effectively 3 games out of top four (Ratts's stated minimum goal this year)....now those numbers tell me he's flowered....

Earlier this season I thought you could win 12 games and still miss out. It's evened up a bit now though.

Making the finals just might be a pat on the back because of the injuries and poor form we've had.
I don't think it would really be that beneficial except in terms of getting more finals experience into players. It may be better in the long run to miss them and have some forced changes at the club.

Wake me when the next 4 games are over

Thread is reminsicent of the doomsday predictions at the start of 2010 which had us being 1-8 after 9 games...we managed 5-4.

It's a long and open season. Just look at some of this weekend's results and you know that anything is possible on the day. Our best is good enough. Get some players back in the second half of the season and the season is far from a write-off.

Haven't you all learned you lesson from the first few weeks of the season?

Go have a look at the ladder predictor thread and you will see my point. After round 3, many thought we were a shoe-in for a top 2 or 3 spot. After three weeks of football.

Now, after several weeks of below par performance, we are destined to tank for draft picks.

Trying to pick how the team will go anywhere past about three weeks in advance is pure folly. You know not what will happen to our list or the oppositions. Form comes and goes. Coaching staff change and tweak plans (though you might have a case to say we havent done that yet...)

Get a grip team!

Finally some common sense..I should learn not to read this board after a loss

So much sniping, cheap shots etc.. don't understand what the point is but anyway.

Any suggestion we'll only win 2 more games is laughable.

Still hopeful we can turn it around, would hope we can split the next 4 games.

Maybe we won't, either way this stretch will tell us a lot about the rest of our season.

Start at the top and work down from there. A comprehensive review of the club would be a good start.
