Amazingly, I can see us winning this one. There is no logical reason. Could be the last win for a while

I'm struggling to visualise Ratts as part of the sequel in 30 years time...

Guarantee you next Saturday morning headline will be "Cats Back To Their Best" or some shit similar after they embarrass us. They will kick off their season, appears teams enjoy playing us thesedays!

We could put our best 22 in the park it wouldn't matter. Sides have worked us out and we have no answers. The coach has lost the players and it won't improve until something changes.

Due to work and family commitments I only make it to one game a year
and its the one against Geelong every year.

So again this year, my brother-in-law (Geelong), my Dad (Geelong) and my self will make the 200km annual
pilgrimage to Etihad Stadium and catch up with a few of the relo's to watch the game.

I'm startin to feel sick in the guts and thinking staying home and looking after the kids
might be a better spectacle !!!!

I cant justify making the effort to get down there and to watch another insipid performance of the
teams current form.

Considering my wife works Fri nights so she gotta take the night off and I have to knock off
work early to make the trip down, I'm wondering if its all going to be worth it !!!!!!!

If it takes a couple of 100 point thrashings over the next few weeks for change, I'll wear it.

Ratts...accept that you are not up to it. Stand down.
Richardson can take over for the remainder. Malthouse/Roos can be paid to be a mentor for the remainder of the year.
Let the PROPER review begin immediately!!!!!

No! This current group of coaching do not deserve to take over!
Yes, let the review begin but with a plan to either help them get out of this mess or remove the complete lot of them TODAY.
Either way - CARLTON do not put up with this rubbish, never have and never should!

Except for the last 10 years......

See..we believe in flags being there ... NOT because of who we are today... and what we have become.. but because of past history!!

We should take a good look at what we are currently... just last ten seasons!!!

Thats perspective!!!

Till we do this.. we wont be going forward!!!

Essendon* have the desire and detrmination but lack class - their squad is evenly spread of battlers with merely 2-3 class players
West Coast are in good condition having the luxury of playing on their own home ground..their starting line up is littered with round 1 & 2 picks with some rookies...they have recruited well and possibly the best team in the competition.
Adelaide are tough but lack class against quality teams also have the luxury of playing on their own home ground.
Collingwood are performing well as an experienced unit but their bottom 30% is woeful and will show up sooner rather than later.
Carlton are woefully out of form and bottom 30% is woeful and being shown up now.
Hawthorn are very hot and cold but dont have any injury concerns other than Hodge.
Sydney are battlers and other than Goodes dont have any injury concerns. Lack that touch of class.
Geelong are performing under par ; their bottom 30% is woeful.

Just saying.

Two teams who can't win a contested ball. Looking forward to the first bounce and having both sets of onballers wait for each other to make a move...

Psych, did you see my post earlier in this thread.

"Maybe the Blues will play better first game under their new coach."

There was vision of Ratten towards the end of the game last night. He was totally non plussed. If he does not resign or is not sacked this week Malthouse at whatever the cost should be sitting in the back of the coaches box pulling the strings.

Lack of personnel has nothing to do with it. Hawthorn did last year. Collingwood are doing it this year.

Game plan and mental strength anyone? Or am I in the wrong thread.
