You people give the lie to the term "supporter". Im ashamed of us all.

Lets see we won a final last year under ratten, first time in a decade, we're 6-4 in 2012 (and with 8 or so first choice players out), and you're abandoning ship already? We're going to hit midseason at 6-5 at WORST - more wins than losses, and still a more than reasonable shot at the finals - and with all our injured dudes coming back in the second half.

Its not time to man the lifeboats or keelhaul the captain yet

Supporter and flower idiot means the same thing?

10 year flower idiots.

Happy????

Sadly, it will take a couple more losses like this for this reality to drive some decision making.

Only decisions we need to make is stop recruiting so many half back flankers and more quality inside mids. Curnow, Ellard[good back up]..the lack of development of all our three tall forwards Rowe, Cabaoult & Mitchell has really really hurt and no fault of the decision makers, its just rotten luck. Changes are needed but an overhaul is not necessary. Definitely need to recruit two quality inside mids though.

Look scallopine , Rowe is unproven.Casboult is not AFL. Mitchell is a man with 4 shoulder reconstructions. 2 of those before he came to the club. Pick 50 odd.None of these guys are a sure thing or were ever going to be a sure thing.
Where we lose games is we have no idea how to extract... and how to move the ball around.

Our players are not coming on.
See the glass ceiling thread and a host of others.

Players are unsure and right now we have NO gameplan!!!

Players cant play if they dont know what theyre supposed to be doing.

Ours have no idea!!!

I did say development - hard for them to develop when they are out for long parts of the season. What did you make of Watson's game yesterday?

Ratts first 2 years of coaching was the best he coached played the young kids that they drafted then he seemed to stop playing them .Then started to trade our picks away for middle aged players and played them the same as pagan did so ratts the only way you can improve a list is draft young talent into your team.

Watson had a good third quarter.

Big deal.

Game was wet... he showed again how he wont make it in my eyes.

As harsh as this sounds.
He is too slow for AFL football.

And you can take that to the bank.!!!

Watson is the epitomy of why this club is going backwards.
Just a poor drafting pick.

By bozos.

Watson had his best game for the club & you cant find it in yourself to applaud or support him? Why? He is only young and encouragement can go a long way.

Cos he is a second rate footballer.!!!

Ad of course its not his fault.
Its the flower recruiters who were friggng Trevor Marmalade fans!!!

But do you have any flower idea.. how many young players i have aplauded and encouraged for battling performances over the last 17 years who have never made it???

Do you?????!!!

Might be the right politically correct thing to say.... but it hasnt helped my team much now has it???

Ill call a spade a spade and a guy who wont make it.. wont make it!!!

That's the committed, go-getting attitude that has seen your beloved USSR thrive so well. No idea where you got that from

War is peace
Ignorance is strength
Freedom is slavery
Or this

Failure is success
Or this

But anyway, I have a successful career that I enjoy, have an adlut son that I talk to most days and had lunch with yesterday, at nearly 50 still competative in sport and no its not lawn bowls. So if I say people need to get a grip they need to get a grip.

Surely you can't be serious? He's played maybe what 3-4 games? Rance couldnt get it together for his first four years.

On the 17h premiership cup you mean? Not under Ratten's reign.

But don't worry BM. The Polit Bureau down at Royal Parade will tell us that injuries and inclement weather were to blame this year. Off you go to help print off the leaflets.

Rance can run no???

He can touch his toes.

These too things stopped me from making it at elite level too!!!

Crucial...

Hint.. if the guy isnt athletic.. dont touch him...
See anyone else like Watto in AFL???

Even a guy like Maric is more nimble.

All I saw were two young tackling machines on show... Watson laid 9 tackles - 2 clearances under immense pressure.. Bootsma laid 8 tckles 3 clearances... if Curnow, Robinson, Bower, Simpson, Gibbs, Armfield, Joseph had those stats they would be happy with themselves...
