I got glmpses of it

It was tough conditons and our boys just weren't switched on, we lost contested pocession 23-12 in the 1st and 18-5 in the 2nd. after half time it got worse. we scored 17.5% of forward 50 entries and they were at 32.8%, they rebounded with ease and had 57 more handball receives than us with 38 more loose ball gets between the 50 mtr arcs and 34 more in our forward 50. we also lost contested marks 21-12.. with those sort of stats and 7 of our best out injured and thus forcing structual changes its always going to be hard. we'll tweak a few things on the track this week, work hard and hopefully get back some of the injured players and maybe have a look at Jordan Russell again, he played well in the afl today, had something like 27 pocessions with 14 contested

There's the problem. We weren't wearing them!!!!!

No StKilda are drilled and have had a better culture than us over the last decade.

Check the head to head.

Even when we could have stomped them late last year we didnt.. "so we dont get any injuries for finals"

Youre right.. "we are not StKilda"

Till people can get their heads around this were not going anywhere....

"We are not even StKilda"

Uninspiring.

My interpretation of his comments in the middle part is that he was using injuries as an excuse, that's pathetic.

Totally agree.

Sounds like a guy who has no idea what might be causing this, so just trots out the injury excuse. What a cop out!

That is worrying for so many reasons

As I said before "gutless". Too worried about offending players and getting then offside. The irony is its already happened

Its like a replay of every other loss.(Both from him and the players)

So obviously he isnt addressing the deficiencies
