How long have we been rebuilding? 8 years?

We are going no where! This team won't make it.

Same as I said at half time.
Embarassing.

Who is the strength coach?
Cordy is the other stuff? I hope. Isn't he???
Our guys on field are not in good condition.

I know there's a lot of injuries, and the cupboard is bare.
List management issues.

3 flags in 5 years....I'm expecting a couple this decade.
The door is expected to be open in 2012.

As for the players...with the exception of a handful...not heart.
The players are playing for themselves.

Geez I hope Kreuzer, Duigan, Henderson and Waite are fit next week.
But who can we play in the midfoeld to help us win a clearance.

Embarassing.

Good games from Watto and Bootsma and should play next week...Henda should play forward now so should Gibbs across HF.

I love and prefer Hendo in the backline but he's going to be needed forward and hopefully Waite gets back next week too.

Of course that's just a structural start and give the midfield some idea where they're aiming. Just the start. We need alot more of other intangible things though

Are you kidding me? Good games from Watto and Bootsma? As Carlton supporters we need to take our rose-coloured glasses off and admit these guys are soft, apply zero defensive pressure, and would not get a game at any other finals bound club. Oh wait, Watson can kick 65m and Bootsma is a cult hero, so they must be good.

I know things are bad, but seriously mate - you have lost it!

Watson did OK for someone who hasn't played AFL for a year and Bootsma was one of our best. Blame the leaders out on the field if you want to blame anyone

Time to play more kids. I'd rather play kids, miss the eight and develop a few players. Who cares about finishing in the bottom half of the eight - waste of time. Premierships are won by a team of tough, talented, uncompromising, players. That's not this group so go back to the well. This group lost me the last time we played Hawthorn. The losses don't hurt anymore - That just highlights how far we have regressed as a club. I just don't have any confidence that the leaders of my club will lead us to the ultimate prize.

Really, the Pies have Reid, Tarrant, Brown, Krakour, Keefe, Mccaffer all out and West Coast have LeCraer, Kennedy, Embley out to just name a few but they still win because they have coaches who's game plan revolves around structure...

Ratts does not know how to structure a game plan....

That was a poorly-prepared side who were poorly coached, and most tellingly, don't particularly seem to hurt when we lose. It's all a bit too 'comfortable' and pleasant, really.

Ratten's lack of a Plan B will extend to his handling of the press conference, where he'll tip-toe around this mess with token references to stats, KPIs and whatnot. Sure, all will acknowledge it wasn't good enough, all are determined to turn it around on the big stage next week, we'll work hard on the track, yada yada. The usual suspects will be tweeting happily tomorrow about haircuts and NBA results with not a care in the world.

The place needs a rocket, top down, to be given to one and all.

We're staring at a likely 6-8 standing, with even finals slipping out of the equation, unless something changes. Injuries or not, depth tested or whatever, it's the attitude and heart that's the most broken at the moment.

Does anyone actually believe that Ratts is under any genuine pressure ?

Does anyone think that Sticks even watched the game ?

Would anyone truly bet their own money that Sticks would put away his beer can/golf clubs and give Ratts a spray?

We are the new Richmond.
Nobody has the balls to demand success.

Ratts & Sticks will use the injuries as an excuse.

Season Over.

Never thought I'd say this but even Judd looked disinterested tonight. On a perfect night for Brock he proved, yet again, that we made a mistake.

Watson was ok just shows how meaningless bullants form is. Seriously you would play Buckley after tonight because he doesn't mind a contest and Watson should have started forward instead of bower. Yarran short of a run. Lucas should have played. No future in Joseph bower McLean Collins and sadly Gibbs. 5 to 10 years away so rebuild

I'll second that and now it seems he has lost the players also.

White, Russell Davies?

How about Ben Reid, Nathan Brown, Dane Swan, Luke Ball, Ben Johnson, Keefe, Krakouer, etc
A few all Australians compared to some of the battlers in your list. Nah, injuries can account for a reduction in performance but not the crap we've turned out since the Bombers game.

A few weeks ago I was livid. Furious at the lack of fight and pressure.
Now I am just disconsolate...
Our shot at top 4 and being a contender is essentially over before it even ever really arrived. With a number of our better players approaching the end ( or at least their best footy is now behind them, including Judd) we are probably 5+ years from regenerating the list for another tilt.
And to think that in the mid-90's I thought I had plenty of GF's and flags ahead of me. FMD!!!
