We have Matthew Kruezer. Aka Port Killer

May not play struggling with his knee and has been for a few weeks.

I too get the feeling Kruezer won't play. We wouldn't go in so top heavy.

Anyone watching the saints and tigers game saw a great game but sadly for us, they also witnessed a team in the tigers who have passed us!

The Tigers/saints game reminded me of some of our wins in the last few years.. Run and Gun football with not much pressure (at least the first 3 qtrs)... Great to watch as a neutral, but way too many goals conceded by both teams..

Dont get caught up in the hype of the media...this was not a "finals-like" game

They actually did everything they could to get the saints up!

Watching the game with a Richmond mate, couldn't help but have a chuckle at the time!

Gotta agree....we don't play with a consistent level of passion and hunger to succeed....maybe one day it'll come....with time....

And the tigers do?

They are an inform team and great fun to watch but they will have rough patches just like we do. First few rounds spring to mind.

They're about the 6th team this year to be in some good form and knock one or two off and be the latest media smut fest team to hype.

We'll be fine. In the meantime beware the hype! I'm happy for my tiger mates but it's 1st June, not late August. As Lou Reed said 'believe half of what you see and none of what you hear'.

I watched them and they are better than us at almost everything atm. Starts with Maric whi hits the ball away from the melee into a bit of space. Their mids are hard work blocking and Grigg gats clearances autside the main pack. Their tackling is first rate and their spread and run is impressive. I have no doubt that with a full side n we can beat them but atm with so many injuries, they would do us in a canter. We will find out soon enough. I think we are lucky to have the opposition we have when we have them.

Supposed to be back next week for the Geelong clash big fella  Can't let Schulz or Westhoff kick a bag, both of them aren't that bad.

Hopefully give Boak a couple of reasons to join the Navy Blue next year

Agree Surrey, notice how many frees St Nick got after he spat the dummy.

Hang on a minute. Some perspective please.

I don't think many observers would disagree that Maric is playing beyond their wildest dreams this year.
You're the first I've heard to suggest Maric is better than Kreuzer, Hampson and Warnock in the ruck.
It's not the hit outs we are having trouble with, although Jacobs ddid trouble us 3 weeks ago.
Form or no form, Maric stuggles against Kreuzer (even Mark I when he was 19yo), and no way could he jump over Warnock.
Who is the Tigers 2nd ruckman, and what benefiot is he to the team. Surely if the Blues ruckmen give Maric the runaround and rotate heavily Maric will run out of petrol tickets.

We have lost games because the Bumbers introduced a socalled "blueprint to beat the Blues", because our midfield is so dangerous. The Saints and Crwos adopted the same plan.

What they did is put more numbers around the ball so we can't get the ball to our outside runners, and tagged one of the outside runners too, the great Simpson. Now you are comparing a group of misfielders who has been smothered by the oposition with a guy (Grigg) who sits on the outside without a tagger. He was crap last night. A down hill skier. There was a time where he didn't get near the ball for 20 mins when Tigers had their surge. Grigg had nothing to do with that.

So you are suggesting that Grigg is better than the tagged Simpson? Scotland? Fair suck of the sav.

As for them beating us right now, you give us reasons why they "might", but they are not convincing reasons. Sure Carrazzo and Murphy missing is not beneficial, but we still have ruck which wins the ball, who taps to Judd, Robbo, Gibbs..even throw in Ellard and McLean for the hard ball gets.

Dig you BS, but I had to get a counter argument in there to balance the books. Plus I think whilst we are not in top form, we have the class and desire to get us through, and some supporters are selling us short...which I don't mind.

We have been the hunted, and our opponents have devised plans to try and smother our Plan A, and the Tigers have been allowed to do as they please. Plan B last week was to match the numbers the opposition throw at us. We're bouncing back imo...right under our noses.

Can anyone tell me if Dale is playing? If he's not I have a real issue that he won't have played in 3 weeks with Northern having another bye next week. Not what I call development.
