I have to agree. Who could foresee that in a game of AFL, that Yarran would experience any contact to his foot and toe??

Seriously, Waitey is on a good gig.Play a few games, go to the Bahamas.(or put on pyjamas) whichever you prefer. I blame that sit com Wags.

The general consensus was that injuries would play a big role in reaching top 4. And that injury list will make it hard just to reach top 8! It is shocking

Waite (back) is not responding to treatment and is certain to miss another week. Lachie Henderson (groin) will miss again, with a cortisone shot in his groin not improving it sufficiently.

hope it's not as bad as it reads there :?

Who decided it would be a good idea for Waite to get an extended deal?

Of the longer term injuries only Murph Carrots and Laids are first 22....and Carrazo and Laidler are back in a month so I don't believe our injury list is any worse than the majority of other teams....

Whenever I see "Waite: 1-2 weeks" I just assume that's how many games he'll play for the season.

Life's easier that way...

Possibly Synbad's mate Andrew McKay who didn't agree with our recruiting...

I've said this previously, but if we keep relying on a dumb, erratic, injury prone footballer (aka J Waite) to be our main key forward then we are in trouble. This crap has been occurring for years. I'm over it.

Hopefully Mitchell, Casboult, Henderson or Kruezer can stand up as key forwards and McCarthy, Watson, Jamison, Laidler in the key defensive posts then Waite can just be a bonus.

Yeah given up on relying on Waite

We need to draft a 3rd tall forward

1) Mitchell
2) Levi (who is a hybrid)

I don't believe we should draft hybrid ruck/forwards ...

Yeah but all the shorter-term "1-2 week" injuries end up dragging on and on.

Waitey has had epidural analgesia only so far (needle in back and local anaesthetic injected) but he is due to see a spinal surgeon this week. Dont like the sound of it.
