Ouch!

Missing 7 of our first 22 in this game: 1/3 of the team missing.

FB: Laidler

CHB: Henderson

H B: Laidler Duigan Yarran

C: Murphy Carrazzo

CHF: Waite

This game will be a huge challenge for the bottom 10 players, and test the mental stregth and commitment of the whole squad.

Please! We have players with broken bones, that is nothing to do with Qatar.

We will do everything possible to lose this game. Was going to go, but happy not to waste my time today. Can't imagine it being a high end game whatever the result.

You have to admit that the current form of the players wouldnt allow many game plans to work. Fumbling, not sticking tackles, giving up on chasing players, missing shots, misjudging clear one on ones and losing them not even halving them, not setting up properly at stoppages (maybe missing Carrots for that), not playing with intensity and choosing bad options. You cant build a gameplan around failing to do the basics right.

Fair enough... but that also occurs if the players don't trust the game plan.

Chicken or the egg???

Today I'd like to see something different... don't care about the margin if we're trying something that will help us for the rest of the season.

Spot on Hornet!

Chicken or the egg indeed.... Are our players failing to do the basics because they're out of form or is it because of a lack of faith (and/or direction) in the game plan? One thing we do know is when our game plan works we are almost unstoppable and when teams employ negative tactics against it we fall apart. That indicates to me that it's much more about mindset and a clear strategy than players instantly losing form and touch.

Could be a bit of both in reality but one certainly stands out to me at being obvious.

Can't believe we now have Yarran and Henderson out for this game as well!! Seriously - WTF is going on with our injuries at the moment? I know some people on here will probably laugh at this but Melbourne are a serious chance to beat us today if we continue to serve up the crap that we have displayed over the last 5 weeks. They have been ridiculed in the media all week and they will be able to smell blood.

Blues by 22 :yikes:

Hate to point this out to you Bondi, but you can't count!

You have listed 8 players there mate.

*edit* Pity 2 of them are Laidlers
