So is Kennedy the equivalent of Warnock, Kruezer or Hampson?
And Darling? Lynch?

Hardly comparing apples with apples. Three ruckmen is a no go for mine.
Apart from being poor structurally I really want Kruezer to have a rest before he gets hurt again.

Ok Cox champion ruckman ruckrover who can do it all.
Nic Nat in very good form.. super fast and hunts the ball in stoppages also leaps over tall buildings and tacles like a demon.
Kennedy... not a bad forward.
Darling again super agile and heaps of second efforts .. plays beyond his years.
Quinton .. banana
Team playing with confidence
Flag coach

and theyre drilled all over tha park.

Us.. 3 rucks none in any startling form.
midfield being smashed and loding the plot
shithouse forward 50 entries.
Players no confidence
A coach that copies gameplans.

Oh , i get it!!!.. WC is the blueprint forward...!!!

Austin named at CHB for Footscray. Anyone know how he's going?

Im thinking we might try and use Kreuze as a permanent forward and see how it goes.

If its wet their not that dumb that they will go with 3 ruckmen.

I don't think 3 rucks will work.
Just my opinion.
Our 2 KPF are Waite and Hendo, 1 injured 1 injury cloud.
Warnock coming off injury won't last all game if 3/4's.
Krooz also looks spent.
Hammer playing FF all year for feel.
Murphy and your Carrazzo are out for some big loses.
Come finals time pressure long kicking with big power forwards win games.
Betts, Walker, Garlett and mids to crumb.
Structure for finals is there players interchange.

Not bad why???
Hes been there a few weeks.

Pfeiffer is doing ok too.... we can do with his hardness across hbf.
Hes been abit Duigenlike if i may say so....knocked up around 100 dreamteam points last week.
Would have been one of our top 3 or 4 ball winners.

Grigg is doing ok...
Kennedy killing them...
The pick 4 is doing ok.. for WC too

Jacobs smashing them...
Lucky we didnt clear Walker and T Bird a year ago or so.....

The ex Carlton team would give the Carlton team a run for its money....

Now, by all means we can disagree on selection, but one bad game? He's had a bad season.

I remember Ratten saying Gibbs was about to explode this season... well... we're waiting!!

Only two of them are ruckmen. The rest a genuine forwards. Slight difference....actually a huge difference. They have forwards in the position forwards play, not ruckmen. Bit like us going say, for example, Waite at HFF, Rowe at CHF, Henderson at FF and a resting ruckman. What we have is 2 ruckmen in the key forward posts.

Maybe we're short on options with injuries so we're kind of stuck but it's not something you want on a full time basis.

Can we get that bloke from the "Pigeons" to come fill in for us?...lol!!!

Ratten also said last week that his games had ranged between 8s and 5s at his worst this year.

Ratten also told me and a couple of other guys a couple of years ago Bower and Russell will be All Australians.(True story )

He was half right or 3/4 right...

Well Russell might be but PB is abit of a Maori mix...

Thats the balance of a back six i have wanted to see for a while. Two talls, Touhy and 3 onball types.
I would happily wear a few contested marks knowing that if they dont mark it we can play it out of there.

Am happy to give AJ another go. Had a nightmare against Milne but otherwise isnt too bad. Needs to recapture that form of last half of last year.

Thornton was terrible last week. Not the only one but he stood out as lazy and disinterested. Worse body language that 2010. Russ was off the mark also.

Get a good running team in. Hampson playing where Waite would and Warnock taking Hampsons spot in the ruck.
It wont come down to the talents of each player this week. It will come down to effort and players wanting to get the team back on track.Lets just hope the strategy involves matching numbers around the stoppages and engaging in the battle amongst uber congestion.

I cant wait to watch how this unfolds.

He has had 4 top notch games and 3 bad games and one average game. I guess 3 bad games out of 8 does make a bad season but plenty of time to turn it around. Just needs to recapture his early season form and play consistantly quarter after quarter.

I was half expecting the 3 rucks for this week. Warnock is our best tap ruckman and was on the verge 2 weeks ago - seems fair enough. Kruezer has really struggled in the ruck, so why not play him at CHF without Waite in our forward line? Both Krooz and Hammer are athletic enough to play KP. Just have to learn to play the positions, so I am livid we haven't tried this previously. I don't give a shit if it didn't work for Essendon* because Essendon* don't have our 2 players mobility!
I actually think we look a little slow in the midfield with Robinson & McLean but atleast they will both hopefully give 100% and get their fair share of the pill and maybe use the runners to get it into open spaces.
Yep agree club - will be interesting to watch this unfold.
Believe it or not - I have a good feeling about this game.....don't ask me why though!

Not sure Synbad. Lets hope we win and get things moving in the right direction.

I love my footy and i love the Blues. This week no less than any other. I am really looking forward to the next month and seeing the way things unfold. Footy tactic wise it couldnt get any more interesting.

Crows smashed us last week and they had 3 ruckmen playing.

Tippett, Jacobs & Jenkins.

Kreuz & Hendo will drop out anyhow, and Watto will get a crack.
