Why doesn't Kerr get a go, it could release betts or walks to the midfield. Would like us to try something different for once with yarran and betts given a licence in the midfield.

Depending on how they finalise the bench, that's a short team, but they're definitely punishing T-Bird.

Good to see Warnock back and Kruezer at CHF... You can win a flag without a champion ruckman but not without a champion CHF\FF.

Duigan injured?? I Doubt it.......

Duigan had scans on Monday on his calf.....

I see, thanks... I wonder if soft tissue injuries will hamper Duigan from here on in, with such big legs... They call calf injuries "old man injuries"...

PS I like having all three ruckmen in together for the first time, just worried about the forecast for rain and showers over the next few days....

Will definitely be an interesting game to watch.

If the talks do not mark the ball maybe Betts and Garlett can kick some goals.

Geez I know Thornton was average, but he's pretty stiff I think!! Don't get much of a chance.

Thorntons pressure was pathetic last week. Forget that he didn't get good delivery, once the ball was in our fwdline his efforts to keep it there were poor. BlInd Freddy could see this.

And JR has been off the pace all year

I'd have liked to have seen Bucks in. He's all class n no skinnier than Boots

C: K.Simpson C.Judd H.Scotland

F: E.Betts S.Hampson J.Garlett
Foll: R.Warnock M.Robinson B.McLean

INT (from): J.Bootsma, P.Bower, A.Collins, E.Curnow, D.Ellard, K.Lucas & M.Watson

IN: B.McLean, R.Warnock, A.Collins, A.Joseph, K.Lucas, M.Watson & J.Bootsma

OUT: B.Thornton (Omitted), J.Russell (Omitted), M.Murphy (Shoulder), N.Duigan (Calf)

As I said last week, FFS!!! :banghead:

Thornton doesn't get a real go.
AJ was ordinary last week in reserves
Three talls when Warnock has hardly played and it will be wet
Be interesting to see final side
Worries me we are now relying on McLean. Just because we are struggling doesn't mean he as turned into a good player.

Only thing I can tell from that is that Henderson will play forward. No chance surely we are stupid enough to play ruckmen in both KP's up forward.

I'd bring in McLean, Collins and Warnock for Murphy, Duigan and Thornton.

Collins to HF, Gibbs to HB, Robbo into midfield rotation, Hampson to FF and Kruezer/Warnock in the ruck.
Bringing in kids who aren't ready is foolish IMO and could actually stall their development.

playing the 3 big blokes, K, Warnock and Hammer will hurt us against any side, including the dees
2 of those 3 are out of form and the other hasn't played at this level since september
huuuuuuge risk for mine

Looks like they're taking the risk......

Interesting that the Dee's have dropped Davey, Sylvia & Morton.

They seem to have gone tall in their forward line too.

Hope we see Walker take a hanger over Howe! That would be something special!

Thornton wouldn't fix the midfield with Murphy and Carrazzo out...

Henderson being a possible out is more of concerning. Half expect Kreuzer and Henderson to be late withdrawals with Thornton and Watson replacing them.

Nothing stopping Joseph from tagging Jones. That's his go. Not the back pocket where he's mostly sucked. Joseph's disposal and runs through the middle are more cluey than Armfield's. One is in favour because he's hard and fast. Shame Armfield has the fastest turnovers in the AFL.

Watch those long kicks come in to our inside fifty.....

Probably will be launching them from back of the centre square.

Go the torp.....!!!

Its like gridiron when the running game is stopped out come the Hail Marys!!

Interesting tactics in the wet.....
