I see the days of proposing to elevate players into the seniors with justification or even a skerrick of reasonable form has returned! Wow, and to think we could've been contenders, and instead we're bums...

To contest implies that you actually went in with an intention to have an impact and win. :)

I think the umpire touched the ball in the middle more times than Gibbs... :/

But still, one last chance for mine, or else he can go to the bullants.

Nah, he is shit in my eyes this year. Every game he gets for zero return is a blight on the club and the other players will keep on believing he is untouchable.

Make a statement club. He and Russell play 2's until they put in some effort.

its a bit of a shame that the game is on Sunday, meaning an extended bench will initially be named. Can see the extended bench being used as a threat, rather than any big names missing out.

I'd say Ratts will go if we lose the next two.

Perhaps a god send Murph is out for a few - buttercup softness he has been dishing up the past month. Will force Ratten to go for a little bit of hardness. Murph has been a liability getting smashed in the stoppages past four weeks.

I'm as disappointed and pissed off as anyone and I honestly want the team to come out breathing fire and demolish Melbourne. Who cares if they're shithouse and it's only "papering over the cracks", I want the team to start learning how to win and be hard at the contest no matter the opposition.

Be @#$%&! ferocious for a change Blues!!!

I reckon it's now or never for Brock. Do we have a place for a slower, bigger bodied mid or not?
It would be nice to give him a month and see.

I can't see the point of dropping players unless you have better players to replace them with.
I can understand a lot of people being unhappy with Gibbs, but he's still a lot better than anything
we've got running around in the twos. The idea of dropping a player to "teach him a lesson" I think
is a bit of a knee-jerk reaction and probably isn't going to achieve anything.

Anyone know where Warnock's at? He's not of the injury list. I'd like to see Kruezer have a rest.
The lad's looking tired -- precisely how he looked in the weeks preceding his knee injury.

Watched McInnes a few times and every time he has been neat. Wouldnt mind seeing how he goes at AFL level against Melbourne that is.

That's the key, see how they go if given an opportunity.

McInness and Kerr fall into this category, give them a chance, it might reinvigorate there careers?

I don't see why would we even bother with McLean?

He's shown nothing in 3 years? What's gonna happen if we pick him this weekend? What - he's all of a sudden gonna play a blinder racking up 40possesions and 5 goals????? Doubt it.

I watched him in the VFL this weekend and he looked out of his depth.

Forget him........... move on...........

I'd be bringing in Bootsma and Lucas (only due to injury) and Waite (if fit).

Russell should be banished (but Ratt's loves him so he won't be)

As we're getting shit on at the clearances, and none of the players you've mentioned are clearance specialists?

Agree that we're shit in clearances........... but McLean is not the answer.

I'm not worried about the 3 or 4 clearances that Mclean *might* be able to get us.............. i'm more concerned with the lack of pace he brings, the shit execution to his dissposal and the 3mtrs advantage he gives to his direct opponent.

He is NOT the answer.

we are at the crossroads and McLean must come in.

considering the opposition won't allow us to spread without the pill his pace is no longer a major factor to not bring him in.

If we lose to the Dees, all hell will break loose...

Reckon we ll take this game a lot more serious now then we would ve two weeks ago... Thats why im confident about a win...

The Dees doent have the tools to hurt us like Adelaide, Essendon* and St Kilda did.....
