If anything the treatment of some players and the favouritism to others goes a long way to explain where the club is at

Duigan doesnt deserve his spot on current form
Curnow doesnt deserve his spot
Joseph didnt
Russell doesn't
Touhy doesn't
Gibbs doesn't

Thornton didnt deserve to be dropped and you cant have a bloke in the 2's being the best player each week and getting over looked time and time again

You have to reward effort and punish failure it has been to easy for some to walk in and out of this side at will

Resting Waite was a joke - He barely warrants selection each week to say he was one of the choosen few that should be rested was a bad signal to the entire playing group

we deserve everything we are getting fancy going into a game knowing you are playing the contested clearance kings of the comp and not bringing in one of you better clearance players

Fancy starting your best ball user as sub when you have Russell out there

Been a supporter of Ratts and Swan but filling that box with ex collingwood assistants is a joke
and sticking with Hughes and Icke for all those years when it was clear 6 or so years ago that they are not drafting

Ratts f*#k you and your slow sustained build up it is a load of crock

not the point

the point is we havent been up there for a chance to win a flag for over a decade.

and we have been living in the shadows of the VFL
Our mindset is not AFL success.

What some people here do .. does not alter that!!!

Its not about TC.. its about the footy club..

Exactly...
While we re chugging along at the rate of an old steam boat, other clubs are zipping right past us at a rate of knots and laughing in our faces....
I have not been so angry at the Club since the dark days of Denis Pagan.
I feel like Ive been jipped, paying my hard earned year after year, putting my faith in a Club who says all the right things, and this off season talked tough. but has now been exposed as an absolute FRAUD!!!!!!!

Haha, a way to break with bringing in favourite sons or experienced coaches from elsewhere.

Our draw for the rest of the year.

Melbourne
Port Adelaide
Geelong
Collingwood
West Coast
North Melbourne
Bulldogs
Richmond
Swans
Brisbane
Essendon*
Gold Coast
St Kilda

We are currently sit on 5 wins. We will need another 7-8 wins to just make finals and 10-12 wins for top 4!

I seriously can't see us even making the top 8.

Looking at that list, rekon we ll win probably 6 or 7 more and sneak into the Finals, and go out in teh 1st week with a wimper...

If we win the games we should win (Melb, Port, North, Bulldogs, Bears, GC) that's 11.

Throw a blanket over Syd, Rich, Gee.

It's right on a knife edge. But hey, it's only football. Nothing to burst a blood vessel over. If we don't make the finals this year, 2013 will roll around just like clockwork and we start again.

Sounds like a plan....
