...well it's just as useless as the call for the coaches head...(although people should wake up and smell the coffee...it's his midfield)

If it is his midfield, then serious questions need to be asked of him also.

Crisis time for the whole club.

Otherwise we won't even play finals if we keep this up.

Then question Chris Judd's involvement in the Carlton midfield game plan.

We have a team of highly paid coaches, but somehow this is Judd's fault.?

By the same token that we point to Melbourne and say "That would be us if it weren't for Judd", we also have to realise that Judd's influence only takes us so far.

To be that far in front of Melbourne to be a flag chance, with roughly a similar breakdown of age/games played/high draft picks is a bit ridiculous in hindsight..

Doc, we got smashed at the stoppages. Had it occured to our ruckmen to punch the ball into space and allow our supposed runners to run onto it ? It's no good getting a ''tap'' if it's inevitably sharked by the opposition. Our rucks today were simply dumb.

Juddy should do the captains thing and take a pay cut so we can chase an uncontracted free agent if hes serious he wants to win a flag at Carlton.
There is no way in hell... that some kids coming in from next year will have any impact in the short term.
Recriiting strategy is a disaster leading into the next three years.
The club was average with membership
Average with leadership
Average recruiting
Average turnover
Had optisimism.. now percy has been pointed to the porcelain.

Someone said that i would be licking my chops.
As if its about me.

I just know enough about stuff that if you dont have your strength in the most important area youre [REDACTED]!!!
Midfielders that can get their hands on the ball first.
ellard /Curnow etc theyre support players.
And we have a zillion taggers!!!

We are not Geeelong.. and Ratts is no Thompson.. even if i dont rate Thompson.. i wouldnt waste my breath on a guy like Ratts as coach.!!!

His interview at 3/4 time was a joke.

What runners?

No one is shepherding for their teammates.

Why blame the ruckman?

The opposition have been beating us at the stoppages even without a winning ruckman.

We had one of the best midfield combos in the comp before Carazzo and Murphy got injured but were still losing clearances. This is 5 weeks in a row now we have been done at stoppages. I (and others) have been screaming for someone to teach our rucks how to put the footy to our advantage and not just drop it at their feet. It is silly. It makes for congested footy, which suits the teams who want to shut us down. We are actually playing into heir hands and nobody can see it. It isn't Judd's fault. He might be able to say something to the coach but in the end, the coaches set up the stoppages and we are crap at it.

Setups are a coaches decision, at Round 3 they were magnificent, then they were worked out and we have nothing left to offer.

Our midfield leaders job is to make sure the coaches strategies are adhered to.

Thus you can't blame the midfield if they are playing to instruction?

If the coaches are weak/stupid enough to let a player dictate setups at stoppages etc, it's not the player that needs sakcing.

They did it last week too. We all saw it and begged for them to try punching it clear. I saw it happen in the last Q and we actually won the clearance (turned it over straight away due to pea hearted efforts soon after though).
