This is one of the rare times I missed John Elliott. This would not be tolerated and heads would roll.

If we are to be a power again we need to make the tough decisions.

Nobody can be bothered setting up the post match discussion thread. The Collingwood fans must be wondering how they lost to us after this rubbish.

I'd rather Buckley and Boots play, at least they have skill

We've been exposed

Exposed for a poor bottom six

Game Plan also exposed. No fwd structure. Inability to win the ball and when we do we get pushed out wide.

I suspect Sinners is right also, we've been exposed for poor recruitment. Not enough emphasis on ball winners.

And poor list management. Grigg is no star, but he's a much better inside mid than much of what we have. Would take Grigg over Curnow whose just a battler. Grigg was flying when he left us. Why didn't they offload some rubbish and keep him ?? Not a great kick Grigg but can run, is a good size, and can play inside. Club mentioned at the time he wins clearances, but they let him go. Didn't value him enough at the time. Didn't realize we weren't as rich as we thought we were in terms of inside .

Right now were a rabble.

Disgraceful. My young daughters said to me "Dad, what's happened, I thought we were going to make the GF this year".

I told them that we are not up to it and have some very ordinary footballers and an even worse coach. I also said that this will set us back 5 to 6 years and I meant it. We have no depth, Judd will be gone in 2 to 3 years, and we have ZIP in the cupboard. ZIP.

Our window has been taken away even before it had time to open.

Laughing stock.

Everything negative thrown at the players has been well earned. Everything thrown at the coaches is equally well earned.

That was a @#$%&! disgraceful impersonation of the Carlton Football Club. But how good did Gibbs' hair look today? I'm sick of this BS that we are coughing each week.

Weak as @#$%&! piss from players who have no sense of what a team sport is about and a coaching panel that is @#$%&! clueless. I'm absolutely ropeable right now.

Gibbs can flower off back to SA for all I care. Cornesy asked him when he was coming back "home" the other night. A very "nice" player in a good team, but no influence at all when the team is struggling, as has been said by many on this site. I hope no-one trys to shout myself and others down this time ??

Gibbs n Dangerfield are poles apart right now

Crows only won 7 games all last year - we are round 8 and they have now won 7

Why cant Carlton do things like that

Have been saying this for years. At some point a side needs to make a quantum leap improvement, not just these pissy little "well we lost a final last year and this year we won one - we must be improving" bullshit statements. Too many TC'ers will rattle of lines such as
"well what would you do?"
"hindsight is a wonderful thing with recruiting"
"at the start of the season would you have taken this?"
"look at the number of wins, we have improved"
etc etc etc

All crap. Those of us who lived through the glory years will tell you that one of the reasons we were powerful was because we disn't tolerate failure. Yes it's a far cry fom those days and the world has changed like we could never have imagined.

Bottom line is that there are too many on this site who just think it will happen, who dismiss losses as something we just get used to cause there's always next week. Synbad needs no one to fight his battles for him, but in the main, I've agreed with much of what he says.

Our recruiting in the last 5 years has been abysmal. Our future is bleak when we are relying on Dale, Buckley, Lucas, Mitchell, Watson and McCarthy to turn things around. And for those who talk about our rookie successes, the bottom line is that if they had been failures, no one would have said anything cause they were speculative anyway.

We flowered up with Russell, Bower, Grigg, Hampson, Mclean possibly Warnock and I think Watson??

Our coaching has been exposed. enough said

Gibbs has never won a game on his own, yet many will point to wonderful stats playing as a bruise free quarterback. Finally, some on this site are taking their rose coloured glasses off.

Our intensity has been exposed. enough said

Behind the scenes, Pratt's and Mathesons money will fix everything up for us

This is not a Sack Ratten vent! I'm just frustrated....particularly with our future....who are the next group of kids?

Seriously Judd should retire. I mean why bother? He was the only one running hard at the end, the only one trying.

The scary thing is we're a boys club. No way Sticks will knife his mate Ratts
