Heard on 3AW that "whisper" says that GWS has made Yarran a large offer. No idea about the validity of this.

They probably have................ and they'd be stupid not too.

AND- I dare say that Yazz will get a few other offers too. It Happens!

I reckon he'll stay though. But honestly, if you were an opposition team and a player like Yazz was coming out of contract, would YOU want to throw him an offer???

Problem with these offers is that they make life very difficult for the club all round.
Sheedy is loving this and would love nothing more than setting us up like this.
We needed to humiliate him a week ago and didn't.
Hopefully we do the right thing and steal one of his players before he moves on.

Whispers us usually on the money. Of course they will offer one of our players a truck load of money. I guess at the end of the day if the offer is too good to refuse he will go, not much we can do about it. We wont be able to match any offer so it will depend on how much money means to him. I hope he stays, we cant lose players of Yarrans ability.

If we cant match GWS offer which could be likely I expect their first pick in the draft at least.

The AFL would decide what scenario we would get under that scenario. He is a good player but hasn't done as much as Ablett. Nor was he as high a pick as Scully. First rounder at best. We'll get screwed for sure if he goes.

Why would it be a first rounder at best? We picked him in the first round, he's probably exceeded expectations. I can't see how it would be any less?

Yarran has said he wants to stay, he has also said Carlton are very close to finalising the contract.
Stick your first second and third rounders up your arse.
He is one of us.

Wonder if they made rich an offer first. Guess he was a worthy pick :-)
